the reason why they didnt make it is cuz theryre canadian. if you ask me. USA just really dont like canada, we support our own, no matter how good theyre, if your from a diffrent country its hard to gain american attention, unless its english, for obvious reasons..maiden, priest, shit like that...... like SCORPIONS, they were huge in Japan before ever being popular in america, alot of it had to with the Virgin Killers original album cover, which is absoloutley disturbing, if you havnt seen it.

yes , old Anvil fans are very happy. I was into the first three but was also happily please in the 90's when they came out with Worth the Weight..Killer album. Bush Pig/ Infanticide.

It's so cool seeing Anvil being mentioned again. I used to look them up on the net over the years and the band didn't even have a website. Now by some miracle, a documentary is out and interest caught up. I was a young teen in the late 70's, and Anvil's first two albums defined who we were. I'll never forget these summer days listening to School Love, Mothra and all the rest with my friends. We really believed the band would reach worldwide status. These days are the best for old Anvil fans.

MTV ruined it all. I liked Exciter too. Raw Canadian proto thrash. I grew up in this time, the underground metal bands were mostly lower income kids high on imagination and energy. It was the real punk over here. I

t was genuine. It's naivete and simplicity is the best thing about it. I love it.

my cousin wrote and directed a movie about this band! it won the LA film festival!! I partied at his house in Hollywood Hills with the band and I stayed there for 5 nights!!! IT was so awesome! ANvil played live after their movie at the LA film festival. Lips (The lead singer) is so nice and Robbo is also really nice and same with G5

Saw them in the mid 80's while they were a bar band. They definitely were light years ahead of any other band. Those days were awesome, the "pretty boys bands" couldn't get a gig and Anvil would play in front of sold out crowds. Sadly MTV showed up and you know the rest. I hope we get to hear real music again soon.
