@BamthePartier: Are you sure the acres are marked off correctly? It could be as simple as one tree too many in a certain acre.

i think this video is very helpful to the viewers to who want a perfect town and a golden watering can . i used to have a perfect town, but i still have the golden watering can but i also have golden roses. for golden roses you need two red roses, a silver watering can becuase those are best for breeding flowers. then in a few weeks or days you will see that there is a black rose then you will get your golden watering can and water the black rose then the next day you will see theres a gold rose

@Imapatheticbanana: You probably added flowers (or new ones popped up). Having lots of flowers can help you overcome any other flaws and you can still get a perfect town.

@kunkanater: By donating to the town fund at town hall. You first have to donate 200,000 bells for an extra bridge. After that has been built, donate an additional 400,000 bells and you'll get a fountain.

So wen u say 16x16 do u mean exactly 16 pattern squares per row or just put down 8 pattern squares til u mark of the acre? I just didn't get that part cause I saw u put down a square then leave a space so I got alittle confused.

@Pikachu4753: It's exactly 16 spaces. I skipped spaces to save time/effort, but if it helps, you can fill in the full 16 spaces for the borders.

@NintenDrew64bit: Yes, it grows back very slowly. You'll probably have to do that for a few weeks of game time before you notice a difference, and months of game time before it all grows back fully.

@magzygurl11: 16 spaces by 16 spaces. If you dig a hole or place a pattern down, that is one space. Each tree occupies one space as well.

@jvgsjeff I have a question about the trees. You know how sometimes a tree is in a spot, and it's sort of like in 2 acres? Like in the middle of them? What acre would it count in? For example: 1:31

@oxJeanellexo: A tree is either in one acre or another. The acres don't overlap, and there's no space between them. The pear tree at 1:31 is in the lower-right (black/white striped) acre. It might look confusing because I skipped spaces when marking off the acres (just to save time). For tricky areas like that, you may not want to skip spaces with the patterns, and mark off the full borders to reduce confusion.

you dont even have to use the 16x16 method or place patterns on the ground.its easier if you can just plant alot of fruit trees,plant alot of flowers, grow alot of hybrids and you will have a perfect town. I was trying to do the acre method but its aggavatiing and it also kills ur grass. BUT most people perfer to do it that way.

@Bshatiah: Yeah, it can be done without marking off the acres. But you either need to be lucky to have it work out right or have TONS of flowers. This method is mainly for people who are having trouble getting perfect town status through regular trial and error. Hybrids aren't necessary for a perfect town though.

To figure out if it's 16 by 16 or not, measure it by using 16 patterns on the bottom and top corners of the acre, and then on the sides. Gosh. You guys really are stupid.

@lewrock2k9: What message is Pelly/Phyllis giving you? But keep buying up the flowers each day and spreading them around town. You can never have too many flowers, and extras can offset other flaws.

@AbzDoes Okay, you know how when you dig a hole or lay down a pattern? If you dig 16x16 holes, or lay down 16x16 patterns, you'll have marked one acre. An acre is a square 16 spaces by 16 spaces. There are 25 acres in your town, or 400 spaces.

Google "Let's go to the wiki" and click the first link, and from there click on "Perfect Town."

@ajdr92: Variety gives you Nookington's, so your store won't change. If you say you don't have time to answer, he'll just ask you again the next day.

@mechasonicbros: That's wrong. Variety gives you Nookington's. "No time" is different from "Not much." Before he even asks what you want in a store, he asks if you have time. If you tell him you have "no time," he will ask you again the next day. But "not much" is a choice when he asks what you want in a store. Choosing not much keeps your current store. You can't revert to Nook's Cranny.

In that acre you need a specific amount of trees and flowers combination for it to be a "perfect acre", the other acres must be "decent", to get a perfect town you must have 8 out of your 25 acres to be "perfect" while the others are "decent". If you can keep that up for 15 days then you will get the golden watering can. If it's still search accf.wikispaces and click "Perfect Town".
