This is a Pilot show! No money or prizes are given away! This allows the producers to edit the show so there are big winners! He might have rolled the dice 20 times to get the rolls that they needed for him to win the $10,000! They edited out the bad rolls and kept in the good rolls to have an exciting big win!-----Excitement is needed to sell the show to the network!
Something I'm wondering, have you ever noticed that "pilots" always have the contestant winning the biggest prize available? To me, it sounds like it is rigged although you clearly see Jeryl rolling the dice every time. Coincidence, I don't think so. What do you guys think?
Prizes aren't given away in pilots, I believe, in general. The contestant are often actors or contestants who have been on other shows and have impressed a producer, or are not eligible due to being on a recent show.
Has the feeling of ever changing rules. And the other issue is that theoretically the game could go on forever. Literally. Some sort of limit (such as the 7/10 spin rule on Bullseye) should've been added
The bonus round was just like the main game; be lucky as in the titile of lucky numbers. Though it did employ a few High Rolers rules of using other numbers on the board to get to what you need to get rid of.
So Lucky Numbers was a bit confusing and did not have much to offer in the line of entertainment. Trebek at least provides some good hosting on his part to help contestants make the choices they need to make. Prizes were adequate but just not enough. Should it sell? NO 2.5 stars.
oh, the $100 bonus for rolling a wild # was only awarded once for each? (i say that because i'm assuming that's why the 3 and 11 were off the board when he rolled the 8)

@Dodgerfn5 The "contestants" are actors who are paid by the production staff to appear. Nothing on the show with regards to prizes is real.
