  • @cassiuscluh My bad this video doesnt have the entire track.

But on the CD you know at the end when its like, "times..areee chaning..all over...the world..."

if anybody know thatd be awesome

  • drum 'n bass + Zumbi zoom = PURE AUDIO BLISS

  • DJ AMP LIVE IS THE MASTER

  • just noticed this song has a heavy drum & bass influence.

  • I put my pits to sleep with this song, they love this shit.

  • every zion I song brings back memories, and allows me to figure out my life, and all the stories/Outcomes, etc. this is all i neeed, i could be happy in the middle of nowhere, as long as I got zion I music.

  • One of the best flows over dnb I've ever heard. Wow

  • Can't figure whether to put this in my iPod as Drum'n'Bass or Hip-Hop, but it's good stuff

  • dopeness

  • Rap is like wine the older the better

  • mainstream shit is whats killing "hip hop"

  • we still make hip hop like this, your all acting like ist dead? mainstream jus makes the good hip hop better!

  • @EJakBeats "mainstream jus makes the good hip hop better!"... You're a lost soul

  • @whathehellbombit nah, u misunderstood him, He meant it makes it better by comparison, and more rewarding when you find some dope underground shit. He wasn't saying he thought mainstream hip hop was good. Sorry i just get irritated by miss communications

  • @burning1er Now i see the light lol, didnt see that comparison at first but now I do, my bad

  • @whathehellbombit no worries man :)

  • i <3 Underground Hip Hop

  • hahah this does sound like some drum and bass too fuking sikkkk!@

  • I love how every single track on this album is good :D

  • sounds like a drum & bass track with rappers aha

  • @bstatts93 that's what it is yo! when this album dropped, a lot of rappers were mcing over dnb... method man, redman, b-real of cypress hill, bahamadia, zach de la rocha and lots more. last year jeru the damaja did a track with kabuki, on kabuki's album. some artists are really in tune with the underground.

  • one day someone will save rap from lil waynes hands.... smh -___-

  • times when our minds used to shine beautiful

  • nice soulful vibe.. brilliant fusion of hip hop and dnB

  • Amplive is a beast

  • i think AmpLive make their beats

  • i think i just found my new favorite song

  • this song inspired me to become a musician. I love drum and bass.

  • i made a mix to this beat check it out,its called "i use to sport a sag".

  • dude rapping over DnB tracks is fucking hottttttttttt

  • OAKLAND CALIFORNIA FOREVER nickel and dime 5-1-0

  • the bass :O So awesome!

  • Hm. Is that dubstep?

  • @inanimateanimation nope... drum n bass mate!

  • CHECK OUT THE MUSIC IF U GOT THE CHANCE AHAHAhAh or not, ithaha u can if u want, no pressure

  • yes, hip hop is a spoiled genre. but instead of complaining we should be thankful that there are still artists like zion i. and btw, responding to the description, they make their own beats. amplive.

  • Rap isn't always about the cars and the ladies, they have. Rap is speaking what in their mind. Today rap, lost interest. But, rap songs like this sound great. The old ones sound better than the ones are on today. The radio should play this type of songs.

  • @liloildude1 What do you mean with "Rap isn't always about the cars and ladies"? It should NEVER be about the cars and the ladies.

  • @liloildude1 I'm nont trying to sound like a bitch, but you should look up how to use a comma. You'd be able to express yourself, and your opinions better. Look up grammar girl or something.

  • @weirdgirl420 Ok, I will look up how to use a comma. Most people don't even use comma while writing. I never all the people but some people, alright?

  • @liloildude1 Radio station do, apparently not the one you're listening to

  • @aestheticpardox9 I like this song, dude. Hip-hop right now sucks, for real.

  • @liloildude1 I hear you but just saying there are rap stations that play this stuff. maybe just on XM stations

  • @aestheticpardox9 I know lately XM stations do play some good music. But so far, I heard a hip-hop song you may like.

Type in: Common Market - House

Tell me later if you like it.

  • @liloildude1 thank for showing me that song, shit sound good. I like that underground stuff more then what's on the radio. Although people like drake and lil wayne, they get pretty crazy and creative.

  • so yes, hip hop is still alive, the radio is just impersonating.

  • hip hop moved underground with master splinter around '99

  • thats some pretty intersting song! GREAT SHIT WOOOHOOO ~ yeah

  • this is addictive

  • Rap now has lost it's foundation of soul. The lack of blues, jazz, or even beat mastering has become a lost art. I even find myself listing to old De La tracks

  • eminem is more annoying than he is good at rapping and now all he does is scream to make his music what people would call hard i want a track where i can sit back and smoke a blunt to that why i rather listen to mr lif or zion

  • would you guys consider this a DnB hiphop fusion?

  • @migger248 yeah I would definitely consider it to be so. And a good fusion at that.

  • @migger248 yes. yes i would

  • dopest rap group. period.

  • AMP LIVE KMIR224 AMP LIVE IS THE SHIT MAN. Greatest DJ ever

  • zion i is pretty well known they are doing well and not even being "mainstream" puff puff and pass it to your friends thats how these bands get known. So don't worry about how they are not mainstream and enjoy them because they AREN'T mainstream. one love. zion i <3

  • Reminds of me of driving up the coast in Cali on the 101 when I was 19. Good times.... I will always love these guys CD's theya re all classics in my opinion!!!

  • Does anybody know more dnb rap from US ????

  • Stop bobbin your head to the beat and listen to

    the "discreet"

    get wise.

  • BAY AREA HIP HOP!!

  • wow! drum n bass/ hip hop that works! to say the least!

  • an answer to the description: zion i makes their own beats. amplive's a super talented dj

  • erveryone needs to stop worrying about how superior this is to mainstream... i mean come on yea this sounds way better to us but im sure thats how they feel about lil wayne and bieber. everyones different, and maybe most ppl just dont give a shyt about lyrics

  • @TheGreenNeonRngr Word, Dont hate dont give a fuck what other people think! That way we can separate away the tasteless!

  • @TheGreenNeonRngr Dumb it down then it will sell....thats a problem...zero contributions, people got to speak out

  • @TheGreenNeonRngr LYRICS? I JUST WANNA DANCE

  • @TheGreenNeonRngr 2 tru mister - There is just so many people on dat REd eye - That sees the Red HERRing system of dividing and disecting - so that the sects fight each other and the real instigators can sit back and be entertainted on they yacht while bitching about the cost of the wine they drink because the weather is bad for grapes because no one prays any more.

  • i just barely started listening to zion i...but the backround music production of this CD is freakin awesome

  • AmpLive does the sampling, and most of the other DJ-ing. During concerts he does live sampling, it's really sick.

  • @holdawg

Yupppp they was just here inReno last week shit was dope, Zumbi is a cool ass cat to get to know too

  • i feel like im in space when i listen to this song.

  • @MegaRollerblade

Good means their doin sumthin right, take us to a whole new fukin dimension

  • some chill drum and bass ;)

    can you dig it?

  • Comment removed

  • @faitholi Listen To Flying Lotus "Robo Tussian" The only thing that can make lil wayne sound good!

  • Love that pad. I actually used the same sample for one of my tracks...

    Liquid DrumnBass/Hip-hop fusion is ill!

Check out Lynx Ft. Kemo - Global Enemies if you like this.

  • these guys r dope live too

  • @karma10158 YEEEA, seeing them tonight

  • If anyone knows any house/electro music like this please let me know!

    Peace

  • @SW4TR3PP1N ur lookin for drum and bass

  • really? ok thanks for the info man!

  • It's called Drum n' Bass...

  • This has some dubstep influence search for that kind of music, if that helps.

  • thanks

  • @nunoooooooooo

this tune was made before dubstep was even invented. it's drum and bass/jungle

  • @jacknesky Your perhaps right, nonetheless the bass rhythm ressembles Dubstep tunes so if the asker was looking for things in that vibe to enjoy, if this tune was made before or after Dubstep existed is irrelevant, I just pointed him out a style that he'd maybe apreciate !

  • @nunoooooooooo much love for dubstep but im pretty sure this albums was before dubstep

  • @csk0bw Your perhaps right, nonetheless the bass rhythm ressembles Dubstep tunes so if the asker was looking for things in that vibe to enjoy, if this tune was made before or after Dubstep existed is irrelevant, I just pointed him out a style that he'd maybe apreciate !

  • Zion and Amp Live are one of the best duo's in hiphop history. Absolutely amazing track! Amazing album too!! I wonder how terrible my life would be if i had never heard Zion I?.....

  • yea guys, this is another method of theatin depresstion er just fellin down.. this ill get ya up to speed. It gets in yo head almost like a high

  • what a great song,

    Blaze it up

  • amazing... SUCH great dj's

  • One of the best Hip Hop albums ever....

  • and it's smoking - from the City of Oakland.

  • One of my fav tracks how many times is great also

  • wheres the nearest record store!!!!! this shit is as good as mine.

  • Blew my mind the first time I heard this.

I am absolutely certain that Zumby can be titled in anybodies top 20 emcees.

  • jedi mind is simmilar gt the same old skew beat zion does witch is amazing obviously

  • Zion I is nothing like JMT other than the fact that they're both hiphop.

  • i was bout to say the same thing

  • @kenshiunderground they don't have to be like JMT to be good, they both have their own unique styles Zion I...Baba Zumbi to be exact, has a lot of symbolic content in his material..JMT, Vinnie Paz being the character of choice, is much more blunt and forward, with an ominous tone. Both being great rappers alike.

  • gotta get this cd bad

  • its their best one in my opinion

  • Shit I feel you on that one, this is crazy and doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

  • AMEN

  • this is what hip-hop is missing.....r.i.p. to the true artists who held the game up since the 90s!!!!

  • this is fucking brilliant, any similar artists and recommendations?

  • i mean if your looking for drum and bass then check out ltjbukem, cause i mean thats what this song really is. but as far as hip hop i would check out people under the stairs, felt, atmosphere, sage francis, typical cats, binary star, and there are a lot more than that

  • A ton... lol

MY page has some good stuff/bad stuff/old stuff. I mean feel free to check it out. None made by me. Just some favorites.

  • blackstar, talib kewli mos def

    oldschool common

    blue scholars

  • Zion-I is a combination of Zumbi the mc you hear, and DJ Amp_Live, I would check out Living Legends, which Zion-I work with often, my fav group, also west coast. Also check out Amp_Lives Rainy Dayz Remixes. With those two alone you have months worth of music.

  • @htownryguy Living Legends is dope!

  • @lorenrb eligh, plant asia, the grouch, cunninglynguists, masta ace, a tribe called quest, jay electronica, murs, gang starr...just a few to start you off

  • it died. Replaced by the conceited rap you hear today about how many cars they have, how many whores they screw, how big their dick is. All the chill sucked out, and soul replaced by greed. Thus we have what we call modern day "rap and hip hop"

  • here here

  • capitalism aftershock?

  • thats not true.... the people who people say "rap" about cars hoes n money.. are what you label under pop music... i mean u can disagree but last lil wayne and soulja boy song i heard .. took me back to those good ol days of backstreet boys n n'sync

  • @SirV3rt1go

Wow, well said! Took the words right out of my mouth but I couldn't have said it better haha.

  • @SirV3rt1go To be fair tho, Wu Tang always used to mention how big their dicks are. lol.

  • @SirV3rt1go if you could even call that shit RAP and HIP HOP i called that r & b cuz they but singing like a fuckin girl and then they have enuff nerve to call it rap and hip hop

  • @SirV3rt1go It's hella annoying that theres someone on every real hip hop video to remind me of how shitty mainstream hip hop is

  • @SirV3rt1go except for eminem

  • @rdmathews37 except for a lot of people, including dis rap group who came out wit an album last week. people need to stop blaiming shitty rappers for da state of hip-hop and start blaming demselves for not promoting good artists. or at least da radio and promoters.

  • @SirV3rt1go

    don't be wack...

  • @Jonny19112 What are you talking about? Every single word he said is absolutely true. YOU'RE wack if you can't realize that. If you listen to today's "rap", you know how conceited it really is. Every rapper out claims to be the best. Wayne says he's the greatest rapper alive, and nicki garbage claims she could "singlehandedly annihilate every rap bitch in the game." That bitch has got some fucking nerve to say that, especially since it is far from the truth. The majority of today's music,

  • @Jonny19112 especially radio music but mainstream altogether is mostly repetitive, electronic, autotuned b.s. that delivers no message or point in the lyrics. It's senseless garbage. If there was a rapper much like 2Pac or Biggie (soulful and thought-provoking), they wouldn't even GET airplay today. Because it's not what these stupid kids want. They want this ridiculous "I'm starting to feel like a Dungeon Dragon" BULLSHIT by nicki manaj. hahah. What a pity. Today's music is dumbing down society

  • @sactothebay

first of all i fucking hate lil wayne and the rest of the young money members. But i think its an incredible ignorant statment to say an artist who raps about cars/money or females is a bad artist. Just look at curren$y for example, one of the most skilled rappers today working with artists such as 9th wonder, jay electronica, and even mos def. Your telling me he's not a talented artist because he raps about those things? listen to pilot talk 2 and get back to me.

  • @Jonny19112 i agree, curren$y and the jets make some great music to chill out to! zion i just takes me to another level though...it would be good if a radiostation was made that strictly played this music and 90's hip hop....

  • @SirV3rt1go Excellent comment. These days, if you claim yourself to be the "greatest rapper / rap bitch alive" (aka lil wayne & nicki garbaj), people will really believe you. Its crazy and pathetic how gullible today's hiphop audience is. Instead of musically educating themselves about REAL rap that actually required skill & talent to put rhymes together that actually told a story or delivered a message, now they want to hear "nicki dont stop u da bestest, I just be coming off da top as bestest"

  • Damn, this CD was so smooth. what happened to music that gave this feeling . . .

  • this song is like breathing in some fresh ocean air as evening descends around you. so refreshing. i listen to this song when I need some elevation. Amp Live is one of the dopest DJs ever. I wish their hip-hop was still this fly...this album is a classic.

  • I think the Takeover is a dope album.. you should check it out!

  • giving me flashbacks of the good old days.. damn. i miss those days. when we had no goals. no destination. just experience.

  • 1999

  • LOve it....drum and bass feel,,,PLUR,,,,stop hatin people,,,,,,,,Peace love Unity respect....To Zion,,x]

  • Love it....Gives that drum and bss,,fell,,This is musik,,,not like the shit on the radio,,x]....plur.....peace love unity respect..to zion,,,x],,,all ya us haters,,,x]

  • we all miss old zion i

  • they just made a new album called the take over

  • right. so why miss them if they're still doin stuff?

  • wat happen to bay rap :(. they need to bring the good shit back

  • there some good (rappers!) in the bay.its just that people don't realize it!

  • I love the lyrics in this song

  • haha, dj amplive makes all their beats, and is an official part of the group. He is very vesitle.

  • one of my fav songs of all time, great album also

  • great album, brings me nothing but memories of getting high in high school, damn I wasted alot of brain cells

  • its more breakbeat than dnb...

  • u couldnt be more wrong if u tried, nothing like breakbeat!

  • i like the dnb in this song,,,,,, i always liked when dnb and hip hop mixed

  • puffin on kush as we speak...gotta get elevated...

  • the beat reminds me of apre escape 1

  • duuuuuuuuuuuude i bought ape escape when i was like 12 and yeha u are right it does remind me of it, right when i read this post i thought of it haha nice 1 dude brings me back like 10 years!

  • lol, yea it does.

    Big love from the UK
