  • Go Leafs Go!!!

  • did you film this with a potato

  • @TheACE377 no i filmed with a pear

  • 7 0T's OMG thats 3 games

  • Only reason the game even WENT to OT was 'cause of the refs.

  • @ROBLOXovicarlson Let me guess, the refs "messed up" on the 2nd goal.

  • @NuclearPotatoSalad He actually saw the whole thing happen, with the Flyers player shoving Shaone Morrisonn into Cristobal Huet, leaving an open net. I don't really care about it anymore, it's just hard to believe.

  • @ROBLOXovicarlson A Cap went into Huet of course, so the play is live

  • @NuclearPotatoSalad He was pushed by a Flyer, which is considered "incidental contact".

  • @ROBLOXovicarlson Looking back yeah, youre right. And Huet was in his crease.

  • @NuclearPotatoSalad I don't get why we're still arguing about this...

  • lupul welcome to Toronto

  • Worst day of my life!,but the flyers deserved it

  • tht announcer sucks... u can tell he hates the flyers like everyone else

  • when you play the puck in front of the net its is... eat it caps

  • hahaha washington fans always whine.... poti got checked into huet thats not illegal it was fair get over it

  • think about what you said... that is not legal, just so you know

  • it is perfectly to play the body, and thats all thorenson did, he played the body, poti hit his own goalie, and huet flopped like a bitch more to draw a penalty then to focus on the puck, nothing illegal about it,

  • haha look at those two guys at 0:33. they look like they are gay lovers

  • your a fuckin retard..... your a pitt fan(worst basball team every year) and trying to say something about ovie...he is by far the best player in the league..

  • faggots, Ovechkin owns

  • hahahahah

  • Yea except Tom Poti was checked into the goalie while he was playing the puck so no interference. Check the rule book.

  • faakkkeee

  • actually the caps were suposed to win this game 2-1 cuz actually the 2nd goal of the flyers is not a goal cuz they pushed huet out of the goal so thats kinda stupid that they made that goal count

  • we shoulda won that game considering that huet got pushed out of his crease....

  • lol at 0:32: The 2 people that look like brothers were like "damn it... I guess the Flyers truly are a better team."

  • im a huge flyers fan but the caps shouldve won that. we had the lead in the series, the caps put up a hell of a fight came back tied it. we playe like shit until OT. but we won we had a good run and we just fell to the pens. GO FLYERS

  • If you wanna say that the Caps should have won since they thoroughly outplayed the Flyers in the 3rd period, that they all the momentum, after coming back from a 3-1 deficit, fine...I agree the Flyers looked out of gas during the waning moments of the game, however, the Caps still could have won that game if Ovechkin took the shot instead of passing to Federov. He was all alone in the slot, which is where he scores his goals, and could have blasted one by Biron (who stood on his head btw).

  • I could easily say that the Flyers deserved to beat the Lightning in 2004 because of the tremendous heart they showed throughout that playoff run, especaially game 6 in the ECF, but the Flyers couldn't capitalize on momentum and were unable to overcome the injuries on defense. OR, how bout the 2000 ECF against Jersey. Game 7, the Flyers outshot, outhit, and outchanced New Jersey, but Brodeur stood on his head, and Elias scored with 2 minutes to go. The Flyers just got it done in OT against WSH.

  • i agree

  • wow its really no big deal.. flyers are amazing and they will win the cup in 2009!!!

  • @ddipas yea nice prediction there..nottt

  • It's not just the Flyers that caps have to close distance between in depth, but also the Penguins. Look at their depth: Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Sykora, Satan, Fleury, Gonchar, Whitney, Orpik. Right now, it's the Flyers-Penguins era....until the Caps can bridge the gap seperating the teams.

  • The fix rendered the whole playoffs a joke, with inferior players and teams. Wings are cheese champs IMHO. I think Ovie's true colors came out in the Worlds, winning handily w/ legitimate officiating.

  • I will admit that the officiating was definitely questionable and they do need a better crop of Refs, but the Red Wings were my pick to win it all in the beginning of the year. They play a great system of hockey and have really talented players on their team . If you believe the Pens should have won...well, they didn't have the experience to beat the Wings. They were like the 83 Oilers..all the talent in the world, but no experience. The Wings will repeat with Hossa, most likely.

  • Agreed, Crawford. Bad officiating is the hallmark of the NHL. But bad officating cuts both ways. No calls and bad calls against one side without interruption for 7 games is another thing entirely, and I call it a fix. Caps were the best team, hands down, in the last month of the season, with the best player in history (Ovechkin) and best young D-man (Green). With non-corrupt officiating they would win Cups for the next 15 years.

  • The Caps had the best RECORD in the last month of the season, but not the best TEAM. Remember, when the Caps had to win 7 straight games and 11/12 to get into postseason, most of the games were against the southeast division, and Atlanta, Florida, and Tampa Bay were eliminated from contention. Only Carolina was in contention and they had many key injuries. If they Caps had to play against all atlantic division teams (Islanders suck though), they would not have got in.

  • It even required the Canes losing to Florida for the Caps to get into playoffs in the final game of the regular season. As for winning Cups in 15 years. The Caps are still a long way from being serious Cup contenders. They have Ovechkin, Semin, Green, and Backstrom, which is a good start. But that is not superior to a team like the Flyers who have Hartnell, Briere, Gagne, Timonen, Coburn, Carter, Richards, Lupul, 2007 2nd overall pick VanRiemsdyke(next season), and Giroux(this upcoming season).

  • The Capitals lack the overall depth to be true favorites overall the Flyers. Next summer, they should look into getting a center(trade Nylander, let Kozlov walk, don't resign Fedorov next summer, and go after a center that can give the Caps a 1-2-3 punch down the middle since they already have Semin and Backstrom. Unless, they're planning on using Brooks Laich. Then go after a top 4 defenseman and then they'll be able to compete better with teams from the Atlantic Division.

  • Next years Stanley Cup winner is already decided. Call the NHL offices and ask.

  • "It even required the Canes losing to Florida for the Caps to get into playoffs"

Yes, after the disallowed Caps goal that was identical to the one upheld for the Flyers in Game 7! That caused our only loss down the stretch. Again, all signs point to the fix.

  • I hate to admit it buddy...but it wasn't a fix. The league isn't rigged. Is the officiating questionable? Of course...but there is no fixed officiating. If the league was truly rigged, the Caps would have won that series against Philly, so that the league could have their Crosby-Ovechkin series to get the NHL more attention. They would want the best players in the world (Crosby, Malkin, and Ovechkin) on the stage. If the winner is already decided, why dont you call them, and then tell me?

  • Series fixed from the word go. Best player in the world clutched and held for the whole series. Finesse team (the Caps) has more penalties than the goon team (Philly)? Letting goalie interefence goal stand (identical goal by Caps v. FLorida two weeks before waved off). Caps are 0-5 in deciding games reffed by Koharski. Yep, a stone fix from the get go. I was there at game 7; Ovie gets away from crooked NHL refs and wins world championship handily. Go figure.

  • O my god i remember when this happned. i just got done a hockey practice so i got undressed real fast to go see the game. i found out lupul scored and i went back to the locker room aand said "LUPUL SCORED IN OVERTIME" and i seriously had everyone in the room jumping on me!!!

  • woooohooooo go phili!

  • lol in washington too. screw ovechkin and crosby, it takes a team to win the cup not an overpaid superscorer

  • umm u think it was the refs?!??!? the refs were the only reason the caps didnt get swept. next year baby flyers win it all!

  • those refs were so cheating they made the worst calls it was unfair

  • Yea i no. caps didnt lose because they plain out suck choad, it was all the refs fault. your right tough guy so i hope you have fun golfing....

  • oh yea and look at the flyers fans at 1:00 THATS WHAT IM TALKING BOUT!!! wooo gooo flyers!!

  • korky122 you took the words right outa my mouth, they tried "key word TRIED" to give the caps the series and now they are trying to give the habs the series, even with game 3 when we won that wasnt a 5 min maj. it was a 2min if that and it should have been 4 on 4 for that late shove he gave hatcher!! ahhhhh refs boooo!! lol

  • that series should have been over a lot sooner, refs gave caps way to many powerplays

flyers would have won game 1 against montreal but the refs screwed us again. they are out to get us

  • I don't know too much about hockey. but Philly shouldn't have won this game. *cough cough* Goalie interference. xp

  • Goalie interference? Yeah.....sure. No Flyer touched Huet, who got knocked out of the way by his own player. But yeah.....goalie interference....

  • Yeah, by his own player who got pushed into him by a Flyer! Don't be ignorant.

  • Pushed by a Flyer? Interesting argument despite how wrong it is. But hey, why let facts get in the way of a good story? Not only should the Capitals have been swept, and not only did they choke away Game 7 at home, but "Alex the Great" showed his true form. First he has an inexcusable dive in Game 3, followed by missing a wide open net that would have clinched Game 4. Damn shame that 98% of Caps fans are phony. The real fans didn't boo Sami's goal because they knew the truth.

  • Ok, even if there was goalie interference, which I don't see any, there's no saying that they wouldn't have scored later in the OT.

  • He's not talking about the OT goal, he's talking about the one in regulation.

  • Yeah one thing, we should have won game one and swept their asses. So everyone can shut up about that good non call. I guess you misses Thoresen getting hit in the balls right!

  • AWESOME. Caps were lucky to even make it that far. One line team with a superstar that dives like Greg LouGAYnis. Their fans suck too, they know very little about the game.
