Well I pass the CFAT and Medical. The Sgt. for my interview mentioned that the Combat Arms traits are closed till April so no one will receive a call till then. So right now it's just a waiting game. I really hope to hear back from them as I seen many people who didn't wear the proper attire to the medical. Also showed up in a in dress pants and a tie. Would be my dream come true to serve my country, and only hope for the chance to prove myself.

I just filled out my paperwork and have my CFAT Nov. 4th.. Then they want to push my for a January BMQ start.. im doing Artillery Soldier Field and this video makes me want to hurry the process up. Btw.. I saw someone ask about Infantry stuff.. everyone's roll co insides with other specialties like the Infantry. So your not just limited to shooting a big gun all day.

i think i can help you. i wanted to go infantry as my 1st choice, but its full so i got an offer for an artillery position, and im off to BMQ in less than a month. i called both anglophone arty regiments, and theres tons of infantry stuff, like the parachute course, forward observation course, and shit like that. dont forget that you learn all that in SQ as well

I know this sounds like a no brain er, but what kind of hearing protection do you wear when you shoot off those howitzers. I'm considering Arty, but I don't want to lose my hearing in the process.

Regardless of what you wear you'll be playing the music a lot louder after. After 5 yrs with the big guns I'm tone deaf in one ear. not bad concidering.
