this is truly amazing! i play piano myself and i cant play anywhere near you! well i wouldnt be able to get near that level of playing and i've tried teaching myself thousands of times and it never sounded good.. any places on where i could get the music?? possibly online??

I'd say it's slightly faster in certain places, but it reminds me of the end of the movie and how incredibly emotional that was...Is there sheet music available? I'd love to give it a try :)

Thanks! And I completely agree. I am making a point not to record any more videos until I've gotten the piano tuned. It hasn't been tuned for a couple years and is in need of a good tune-up.

And I know my piano sounds a bit out of tune and off balance. My poor piano is getting picked on so much! T_T  I need to somehow convince my parents to get it tuned. It could also be the camera quality.

@PolarPianist Ah its fine. Yours still sounds better than my stone-age 70's keyboard I am currently using. They Keys are half the size of regular keys. Bad experience, but it won't keep me from playing piano :)

Btw, I saw the movie last night again. Its one of my favorites and Hans Zimmer's music is anyway genius! Good luck with your parents.

Well you play very well, and way better than me. However your piano (upright piano right?) does not seem to be properly tuned! It almost sounds like a harpsichord, doesn't it?! Too bad because otherwise this version would be the best to be found on youtube.

Yes, it's an upright piano. It's a Kimball, so it's not the greatest quality. I admit that it may be a bit out of tune, and I wish I had the means to get it tuned, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it sounds like a harpsichord. Harpsichords sound WAY different. And I've been thinking of redoing this version, working on the balance of the bottom hand, tempo, and I'd probably record it on my church's baby grand.
