  • Are you sure this is Breda? Sounds like an Alstom.

  • @afayuk The first four cars are Breda rehabs. They were originally manufactured by Breda, and were rehabilitated in the mid-2000s by Alstom. Thus they now have Alstom ONIX motors and other equipment. There are a number of ways to distinguish Breda rehabs from Alstoms, most notably in this case a horizontal ridge near the roof. Bredas have it, Alstoms do not.

The last two cars are 4000-Series cars, which have not been rehabbed.

  • Where is the other platform?

  • Wheaton and Forest Glen are designed in basically an "H" shape. Each side has a track and platform in its own separate tube, and the two tubes are connected by a walkway near the center of the platform. The walkway also contains the escalators (Wheaton) and the elevators (Forest Glen). This video was shot about 150' from the outbound end of the platform. The walkway connecting the two sides is behind the camera.
