LOL :-p J/k You have to realize that he was already going 100mph & crossing the 60 foot mark at about 0.8 second into his run. Since it shut down roughly 3 seconds into the run, my guess is that he was maybe just barely shy of, or *very* close to, the 1/8 mile mark when it died.. He coasted about 1/8 mile, maybe a cunt hair more, & was already running *at least* 260-270mph when it died. 8000hp is fast!

I remeber seeing top fuel dragster many years ago at Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach. I watched Darryl Gwynn. Not only was it loud, but the nitro irritated your eyes and nose. I don't remember 100%, but I remember Moroso having the stands very close to the track. So, unlike these stands I see on tv these days where you are 25-50 yards away, at Moroso you were like 10-15 yards away.
