Personally, I would rather have a 1991 Lamborghini Diablo tuned with 800-1000hp. I'm not a fan of Corvettes and the Murcielago is overpriced. I just wanted to bring to the public that exotics can be tuned as well but were meant for the racetrack not a status symbol.
I love this race, see I don't like the German manufacturer's because they brag so much, and than when they get beat by an American car they go into their titee attacks, but Italians... The vette has multiple mods while the lambo has one one mod. It's not a fair comparison. Take a stock lambo and a stock c6 z06, game over. This video is filmed strictly to favor the vette. Just for your information a stock small brother LP560 gallardo beats the c6 z06 by several bus lengths from roll. I think the lambo shown in this video is LP640 murcielago which is a tad slower than the gallardo lp560. Corvette is a cheap piece of cock shit.

Ive never heard of anyone dropping in cams for their gallardo. Z06 parts are extremely cheap and huge power can be made, let alone the fact that the motor will handle a good amount of nitrous. Ive seen a video of an LP560 beating a C6 Z06 by bus lengths, but im confused, because ive also seen a stock C6 Z06 w/ drag radials run quicker in the quarter mile and have the same trap speed as the LP560 despite being rwd.
@maxinator39, The stock C6 Z06 you saw having better ET maybe the one with best runs (excellent weather (DA), track condition) and you said, with drag radials and comparing that to the bad runs on the LP560 with stock tires and worse DA conditions. Weather, driver, tires, and condition of the car makes a lot of difference. Also accelerating from dig to quarter mile and race from roll cannot be compared due to the differences in drivetrain (gear ratios at different speeds).
I dont understand though, because the LP560s quarter mile had to be recorded in atleast fair to good track conditions. Its also torqueless and awd, it should have no problem hooking. Awesome powerband, little drag ce, and its huge gears make it a great roll car.
I sure hope the Lp560 is faster, it costs nearly 3 times as much.

Yea the LS7 is no joke and a tune would add 20RWHP to that car especially since it has LT's and a CAI. Now if it was an LP 640 or the awesome LP 670-V it would have been much more difficult to make up that jump the Lambo got. LP640 probably dead even the 670 well that car is the V12 LAmbo flagship. My next car without a doubt is an 09 or later C6Z
No one racing a stock tranny 6 speed Corvette (except a ZR1) would ever use 6th gear in a race. The base Corvette and Z06 top out in 5th gear. Chevy states the top speed of a Z06 is 198 MPH in 5th gear and I think it will only pull around 150 MPH in 6th because it is geared so high.
it's obvious..dynoed stock z06=about 530 hp+these mods i think 560 hp..murcielago has 573 stock let's say 590 with exhaust..weight is the issue of the lambo ..and maybe AWD..cause it has good paddleshift gearbox,gearing and aero:) ohh and it's old..
that z06 is like 600 pounds lighter

Murcielagos and Gallardos seem a bit prone to spontaneous combustion and the resulting factory recalls.
Great looking cars but way too steep for my pocketbook.
Just happy I can afford a Z06. Also happy the Z06 performs as well as it does.

Seems kinda disappointing considering the astronomical price tag.
