Translate: My name is Lateef Crowder's Saints, was born in Bahia, and it's pretty cool there, I have one sister and three brothers, and my grandparents died, plea tomorrow morning I'll eat acarajé, feijoada, muquequa, fish, shrimp and acarajé and is everything.
Yeah, he has a strong accent when he speaks Portuguese. But then again, I can't really say anything - I do too. He probably has the same problem I have, born in Brazil, moved to the US while very young. My Portuguese is also tainted with an Americanized accent, just because I pretty much only spoke English while younger. I'm working on getting rid of the accent these days, by practicing my Port.
I call Lateef Crowder DOS SANTOS, I was born in Bahia (Brazilian state) is very cool place, I have a mother, 3 brothers and my grandparents are dead, tomorrow morning I'll eat acarajé, feijoada, muqueca fish ( Brazilian delicacies), shrimp....
That does not make much sense, moreover accent it this far-fetched, it is as if he were reading a textual in Portuguese that he does not remember how to speak right = / but I liked ...
lost in the US, cause i never spoke english and i spoke only fluent spanish til i was like 6 n then teachers had a problem so i had to learn english n get tutors n translaters and now i have no accent when i speak english n iam ashamed to say i did loose some of my spanish cus i had to focus english n my parent were born n raised in chile n they spoke engliush to me so i would learn. and i suck at typin lol
i too had to learn english as a second language but i'm fluent in both english and spanish. i can read and right both very good and i have no accent when i speak in either.
He said a buch of rubish. Like is name, number of brothers, and a list of stuff that hes going to eat the next day.... plus his potuguese is pretty abd, since he lived most of his life in the US...
Yeah...it might come out fluent, but the accent is horrible. Nothing like a native, but thats expected since he lived almost his whole life in the US. At the end he actually speaks some spanish (wich is similar), and when he is going out he actually shouts "fuck" in portuguese ("Puta merda")! lol
Well ASS-FACE, I am a Brazilian. Live here since I was born. And I am, if I may say, a brilliant student. To complete my formation (saying this to show how I CAN give an opinion on the matter), I am a fluent English speaker (American mother, and more than a year in the US). And I say it again: his accent is not 100% fluent. And telling what you`re going to eat, to a man that wants to hire you to kill...is just not normal. So why don`t you understand this: SE ENXERGA FDP! ESTUDA UM POUCO ANTES!
even if his accent is not 100% dead on, i'm sure it was part of the script to tell the guy what he was going to eat just to add comedy relief. i dont speak portuguese at all but i actually understood most of what he said because i speak spanish and it is very similar to portuguese.
He says: My name is Lateef Crowder dos Santos, I was born in Bahia, in.....I have 1 sister and 3 brothers, and my dead Grandparents and Tomorow morning, I will eat: Acaraje, Feijoada, moqueca de paixao (i dont know what is it), peixe (Fish), Camarao, and Acaraje (again?) and that is all.... (Brazilians food)
Cause he lived a long time in EUA. I have a friend living in portugal who came back with a weird accent too and a friend who came back from holand also came back speaking funny.
"Eu me chamo Lateef Crowder dos Santos eu nasci na Bahia e muito legal o lugar!
Eu tenho uma irmã e três irmãos e meus avós falecidos! amanha pela manha eu vo come acarajé fejoada muqueca de paixao, peixe camarao e acarajé e eto???" kkk
No both of you are wrong,he is African-American but born in Brazil but if he was from brazil he would be Afro-Brazillan he just practices brazillan arts but yes he speaks english too and portugese.=Dim a good teacher!
i went to college with him, we were on the gymnastics team together at UNM....he speaks english as his primary language...it's hilarious to seem him speaking another language hehe
The translation of Lateef words, is: My name is Lateef Crowder dos Santos. I was born in Bahia and is a nice place. I have one mother and three brothers. And my grandparents was dead. Tomorrow, I'll eat acarajé, feijoada, muqueca de peixe, camarão e toro [?].
