  • amazing. nearly made me cry

  • Well done to all involved in the making of this video. A fitting tribute to a very brave young lady called Annie Moore. God bless the emerald Isle and all it's people. My Dad came from Co.Tipperary many years ago and when he arrived in England he didn't even have a pair of shoes. He overcome many difficulties too, yet was the most loving Dad anyone could wish for.

  • @SuperDonna888 a lot of my Grandmothers family came through Ellis Island..... from Germany, Wales, and England

  • @violaboy2890 Oh, so I'd guess this video evokes memories of the difficulties and struggles some of your ancestors faced in those days,..such brave and strong people! I was born in England but I have Irish, English and Welsh in my blood,.. it's no wonder, that I'm always giving myself a 'good telling off' hahaha

Btw, was you involved in this video?

  • @SuperDonna888 I was actually not, sorry, btw, where in England were you born?

  • @violaboy2890 Sorry? hmm anyway I'm from a small village called Haworth in West Yorkshire. Have you heard of The Bronte Sisters?.. Charlotte Bronte, Emily and Anne...well I'm from the same village, though I don't live there now

  • Beutiful. I want to say the last person to cross through Ellis Island was a 64 year old Norwegion Fisherman. To all who left there homelands.
