The difference between animate and pro is that you are allowed to draw directly into the program by use of a wacom tablet. Harmony is essentially the same as Opus, which was used by students but was discontinued. I would only say use Harmony if your into animation such as naruto for example.
Actually toon boom harmony is the same as toon boom solo (the last version of Digital Pro) exipt harmony works for networks, Solo is a stand alone software.
@Slamr0qu3 ,Toon Boom studio is good for beginners , you can do all this on it , scan your drawings and bring them to TB, or draw directly on the software , or you can do cut-out style too , stop-motion animation , and animate with bones as well . lots of stuff there , Adobe flash is good too but for the web . Try Toon Boom Animate, Same Tools besides Animate has more features, And it is for endividual users.

I'm kind of new in animating. Do you think Toon Boom Harmony is a good start? I've only tried Toon Boom Studio.. but Harmony might be better?
