  • Great video, when i go to buy my first classical or flamenco guitar I'm going to think of Richard. From this video, he seemed to have an awesome personality, and he knew what he was talking about.

  • Wonderful! I thought I would dislike this video as most of the time you hear someone talk about evaluating guitars it is a subjective biased rant. But This video is refreshingly objective and "spot-on". You look for even volume, timbre, and clarity - top to bottom. Also, the guitar's basic tone is there in the beginning though it grows larger, more dynamic, and more complex over the first few years and matures more slowly thence forward. Finally, player technique is required to bring out tone.

  • What a pleasant video. Just "came across it". It was so sad to learn at the end of the video that he is no long with us. Even though I never knew the man you can really tell his genuine enjoyment and enthusiasm for what he was sharing.

  • I'm Richard's daughter. I had no idea this video was online. My dad loved helping players and guitars find their mates.

  • @hilarylgg Hello, do you know the name of that beautiful guiatar he is holding at the start?

  • Excellent video, I didn't know about his passing, my condolences to his family and friends.
