Maybe this tune is not original or fresh< but sounds very epic. (truly, the movie isn't so bad...). Unfortunately. the scores to B-movies usually don't have a CD releases...
I've heard more original themes than this - actually, nothing special. Yes, it hardly can hurt your ears, but it rather familiar. Evidently, this piece was inspired by some well-known sci-fi soundtracks and 80's tunes.
But speaking of film's inferiority - yes, this composition seems to be too "gorgeous" for such trash movie.
The same composer did the score for Fist of the North Star; which as I recall was quite an impressive movie with a dramatic score too; why didn't DNA's score get released? Music like this is surprisingly good to accompany a long distance hiker!! Cheers!
A Predator rip-off, eh well...maybe. But I have to say I did enjoy the movie anyway.
