  • Well that the biggest cessna i've ever seen before!!! :D No I'm serious nice video!

  • its a spitfire

  • Where Thet ?

  • "Uh, Cap'n... I don't think this is SFO"

"You know what... I think you're right"

"Well, let's turn around, go back to Maui and start from the beginning"

"Good idea"........"Suzie? (pressing F/A call button).....bring me a Pepsi, sweetie, we're gonna be delayed a while"

  • i didnt know 767 came with tripple boggies.... damn ppl are stupid... IS A 772ER!!!

  • did this pilot get fired too?

  • Airlines are more than welcome to show off there equipment at airshows. It adds to the excitement if it is not on the program. Absolutely nothing wrong with this plane, it's flight, or its low level altitude.

  • This is from the Air & Sea Show @ Ft. Lauderdale! Come on!

  • i think its just advertising

  • it has extended the landing gear an wheels, so it maybe hasnt flown in the right angle to land...its my opinion..

  • People dont understand what "unexpected" means obviously!! In Air Show terms and unexpected fly by is an aircraft that wasn't on the schedule. it was a secret part of the air show to speak of, people didn't know it was coming!

  • Wow, it looks like the pilot was really off course with his heading.

  • Hey! Who moved the runway! lol!!!

  • lol :D

  • Great- Another know it ALL-

    folks~ Airshows are for people....

People go to airshows to see Airplanes. This must be a pretty piss poor 'AIRSHOW'----

    cause I see --- 'NO PEOPLE' --

ANYwhere do you ?? Except the guy filming-

It can't be an Airshow--> come on.!

  • You obviously don't read comments AND have never been to FLL.

Boats line up ~1/2 mile off shore-- all along the shore during this airshow-to create a runway efect.

Again.....I dont see any airshow fans in boats in the water---anywhere.

GOOLE 'airseashow' -- you see pics of THOUSANDs of people all over the place.

    great vid BTW !

  • lol it cant be a airshow cuz its a commercial plane american airlines

  • ummm

    there in airshows too

  • Low and unexpected, but you had a camera to capture it at the perfect moment? boom roasted

  • its KFLL ~ the Air and Sea show is Sat & Sun. -Practice is Friday. This jet flew by on Thursday ~ Notice the lack of people/boats~ Anywhere`.

Sorry, actually you're right- I radioed ahead to AA in DFW and had them send me a triple7, just for kicks.!► and still was late on the shot.! Damm --hate when that happens.! lol

  • AAAAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA.

Well thank you for all the effort just for this little Youtube clip!

  • Its not "fake", and its not "unexpected". It was taken at the Ft Lauderdale air show, where every year American does a low pass fly by. The year they retired the 727, they did a fly by with a 727 and 777, wish I had taken a video of that!

  • If it was Expected / and @ an Airshow-- where are all the fans in the water, floating in their boats?

    its NOT an airshow- !!

    And obviously unexpected dude--

  • must be near KMIA

  • KFLL uh huh

  • It may not look much in the video but I bet that was actually quite scary.

  • Your screen name is perfect for you...It's not a fake. This was filmed along the Florida coastline, where AA has a huge hub at MIA. May have had something to do with an airshow.

  • This video is fake.

  • @poohead95 Your face is fake

  • shit

  • Fake what ? you're smoking. That's as real a the 'F' ~ on you homework, dude.

  • what a hell with that manouver man !!!

  • You people amaze me! It's obviously a plane! Its got a wing on each side, a tail (you can see the rudders and elevators), the landing gear is on the bottom, and the dead give away is the jet engines on the wings. But, most of all....it's flying in the air. C'mon people, its not a bird or superman!

  • Its obviously a 777 the tail is flat in the back and the wings are sloped upwards. and the 3 wheels in each side.

  • I think I made that comment already!

  • good for you!

  • great-- I luv that sound. 777's are the best man-

  • Why is there always some douchbag that comes on here and says "It's a fake"?

  • @JohnDH1977 or "did they died?"

  • could be juliana airport(st.maarten)

  • never sawn a 777 there:)

  • well,it's a first time for everything

  • KFLL

  • TNCM

  • @gizmopilotdk47 He said it KFLL a dozen times.! Not SXM -

  • I'm sorry! I worked for AA for 5 years, thats a 777. 3 wheels on each side of main gear, the tail tip is flat, not a round tip like a 767, plus, its a hell of a lot fatter and longer than a 767. Know your aircraft if you want to start an argument on what type of aircraft this is!

  • If only everyone was as smart as you....

Really..... if you DONT know what you are talking about.. pls be quiet. 777 my favorite.!

  • Sorry 'sunset'... as many earlier viewers have agreed and commented (with knowledge/proof)~-► IT's a 777.

You'll need to go back and study your aviation books.!

  • @sunsetreptiles ~We do have lives..mostly aviation lives--- AND we dont make foolish comments on videos. You were simply corrected. Good luck in school. #LOL

  • @sunsetreptiles so if u think we should get lives why are you watching this then? no one said you dont have to.O and dont blame your problems on us.

  • @sunsetreptiles then why are you watching this?

  • @sunsetreptiles If you dont have a hobby or anything, YOU dont have a life.

  • @sunsetreptiles Thats the dumbest comment ive ever heard

  • @sunsetreptiles I DO have a life. Aviation is one of my hobbies. Nothing wrong with that. Can't spend the rest of your life just working and going to school. You must be bored to tears when you're not in school or working!

  • 767's are much smaller

  • its a 777 have massive engines and six wheels each sides. :)

  • yes thats a 777!

  • @sunsetreptiles yep, triple main gear, raked wing tips, pointy nose, its a 777 for sure. fyi, 767's have double main gear, no raked wing tips and a blunt nose.

  • @sunsetreptiles its a 777

  • It seems it had a landing abort..

  • Landing Gears Look Ready?

  • this looks like a clip taken from that joke advert where the kids jump out the back of the plane into the sea!

  • almost looks like the etheopian airlines crash on air crash investigation

  • 777~~ Sweet..!!!

  • Great shot~ I love the 777. How can that be fake? Silly people.!

  • FAKE

  • Only 'FSX' is Fake. lol

  • hehe:D but where is this aiport:)

  • i play fsx woop woop

  • @Kungcocos111 So's your sexuality

  • for you who can´t see it´s a 777 should think about what they are saying? what "look at the engine"? you can se far away if it´s a 777 or 767. it´s just like the differens between a Ferrari/porsche against Saab, volvo.. or something. it´s a 777.

  • what beach is it?

  • Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. ~ KFLL

  • Can be scary when planes come out of nowhere like that, not in the sense of terrorists just out of order. I remember when Air NZ took delivery of a new aircraft did low altitude fly over Auckland harbour, cool but odd.

  • That's a Boeing 777 allright. By the way, Why was this Plane flying so low over the water? , Just wondering

  • KFLL Airshow {practice} Flyby..

  • it is a 777 look at the engine

  • doesn't look like a 777 to me. I would say it was a 767.

  • I would say you NEED to get your eyes checked... 777 all the way. Go read your Janes' All the World's Aircraft book again!

  • hey i have that book!!

  • mmm...

    pretty odd 767.

    a 777 has 6 wheels on each main gear, a 767 only has 4

  • freeze at a point where the landing gear is visible and count the tires because i count 6 tires on both struts.

  • Not to mention that the main gear on a 767 tilt forward, while the gear on a 777, and most other aircraft, tilt back. No way to confuse them.

  • That too

    good point jgriffin7

  • well to the non-plane expert like myself, its very easy to confuse them. they hav the same shape with wings

  • Adding to what others said, the tailcone on this plane is flat, while a 767 tailcone is round.

  • it is a 777. i am riding those birds.

  • good

  • Looked as well as the approach at SVMI (Maiquetia in Venezuela) as some planes coming from the north sometimes bank hard for a final approach...Although AA does not fly 777 to SVMI

  • it reminds me the way planes take the curve to go and land at larnaca's airport in Cyprus!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL YOUR ALL IDIOTS!!!!! This was from the Ft lauderdale air and sea show.

  • YES it KFLL ~ the cAir and Sea show is Sat & Sun. Practice is Friday. This jet flew by on Thursday morning. Notice the lack of people/boats~anywhere.

  • sorry.

  • columbine 9/11 va tech , wat the fucks next

  • This is not a 'terrorist' thing. This is a flyby at an airshow. Do you see a terrorist behind every corner and aboard every airliner?

  • I wonder how many people here have ever been to an aviation event like EAA AirVenture at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. All kinds of aircraft are there, from small, privately owned planes to jetliners...but the coolest are the military planes, especially the WW2-era warbirds!!

  • Full flap .. check!

    Gear down green .. check!

    Landing check list complete!

  • Full flap .. check!

    Gear down green .. check!

    Landing check list complete!

    runway...?!

    where is the runway?? LOL

    no just kidding

  • Pilot: Full flap

    Co-pilot: Check!

    Pilot:Gear down green

    Co-pilot: Check!

    Pilot: Landing check list complete!

Pilot: Now if only one of us knows how to land this plane.

    Co-pilot: This is a plane?! I'm a boat captain!

  • lol

  • yep and you did it. what relevence does 9/11 have to this video?!

  • Absolutely~ NOTHING!

  • The pilot is going to get fired like the one in Cathay Pacific if he does that again!

  • This flyby was part of an airshow, therefore it was totally legal. I'd love to see a 777 show up at the Atlantic City airshow. They should have a 747-400 and a 777 there.

  • Thats why.

  • Hello, this 777 is part of an AIRSHOW in Lakeland, Florida and the pilot is CLEARED to do this since it is an AIRSHOW...the low flying is to show what a Boeing 777 is capable of, simulating conditions one would find at an airport like St. Maarten where the actual landing is very close to the beach. Public airshows are for pilots to show their skills. And it's LEGAL because airshows require certain local and FAA permits.

  • Actually there are no oceans THAT close to Lakeland. That's the Atlantic, it's a triple7 ~and its KFLL, not Lakeland.

  • Sorry.

  • Its a 772

  • wow, why do these plans always have these low fly bys

  • This airplane was doing an APPROVED flyby at the Fort

Lauderdale airshow. It was invited to participate.

    Get your facts straight!

  • FACT IS, Jack / ~ For the videographer ~ It was an unexpected flyby ~

  • I love how some guy is telling you that no, you actually /were/ expecting the flyby! He is a mind reader! He knoooows what you were thiiiinking. =)

  • BigBear you should get your thoughts straight...you WERE expecting the flyby and you approved it first, okay?

  • That's a nice shot of the 777. This is one of the planes I want to fly on someday. The Boeing 777, and 747-400 are my fave planes.

  • i would of been scared if i were in that plane

  • I'm thinking this was the AA flight that had the emergency landing in Miami the other day because of the door of the ftron landing gear door not closing. If you look at it, the front landing gear is out and the back isnt. It took off in Ft. Lauderdale too..

  • Nose gear doors are left side and right side.

    Not front or back.

Both are open. This is a pre-Pre-Airshow flyby I figure.

  • it is actually. I recognize that. It's from the 05 McDonald's Air and Sea Show. American Airlines always performs at it

  • No, because

    a) The gears are all down

    b) This was posted 19th January

  • This is clearly not the AA flight that made a precautionary landing at MIA last week. That flight was and MD-80, and this is a 777. Not even SLIGHTLY similar aircraft types.

  • this is a 767

  • no, it is a 777. You can see the triple tire landing gear.

  • Definitely a 777. It can be differentiated from the 767 by the triple tire main gear configuration and the squared off "stinger" beneath the vertical fin on the 777 where the 767 has an APU exhaust outlet.

  • It is clearly a Boeing 777! Look at the back of the back of the aircraft..the end of the fuselage is squared-off. A 767's is rounded.

  • so this wasn't part of an airshow? You were just at the beach and this one and only 777 just comes in over the water like that? Or was a show getting ready to happen?

  • The SHOW was Sat and Sun...this was Thursday! ~ Morning.....notice the lack of hundreds of boats, normally lining the shore & creating a rnwy effect between boats and shoreline.

  • They do dry runs before the actual show !!!!!

  • Was it the FT Lauderdale Air and Sea Show? Or the pilot got a chance to pratice the approach before the show

  • is this in St. Maarten?

  • No it's actually Fort Lauderdale Fl. USA.

  • woof!

  • is this the same plane as talked about on the BBC website - about the pilot who got sacked for performing a flyby stunt?

  • Nope

  • Nope Pre Airshow in FLL

  • seems crashed! :D
