Also came here from TV tropes, and the clip doesn't prove that Carrey was actually playing that well in this scene. It pans from legs to Carrey, cut to audience, cut to screen, cut to shot of legs, cut to upper body and freestyling. He probably played a bit to get the general look and feel, and watched some more experienced players, but I doubt he learned to play at Expert level for a 45 second scene.

i have to say this as a ddr fan and that was fake lawl -.-(look at the screen at 0:12,and look at his steps,if u had some common sense u would know that with his steps and how far he was into flowers aka the song including that it was on expert,he would be at LEAST 200combos not 102 cause its near the end,plus if you know the songs on evry lvl by heart u know thats NOT flowers on expert,and it was at least 2x speed but that shouldnt effect combo size that happens at 8x or 5x speed yeah its fake)
