Final Fantasy VII is over rated, it's still an amazing game! Without Final Fantasy VII we wouldn't have many of the great RPG's we do now.. It doesn't change the fact that it's over rated. lol PS FFX is better : D
this is the scret ending from crisis core becouse it looks just the same but you cant doubt it will be just for ps3 i mean with final fantasy 13 out i have an xbox and ps3 versions of the game and the xbox works just as well as the ps3....but then this comment would probably start an argument over xbox and ps3

yes the remake has been comfirmed by the big guy but won't come out for a while.
It will be only on the ps3 because sony has had the rights to ff vii since it was put in the ps store as a ps1 classic so xbox and nintendo fans your out of luck and also ps fans who don't have a ps3 yet get one and buy some good games to keep you busy until ff vii comes out

the people at square -enix have denied they are remaking ffvii, and thats that. admittedly it only took them 2 days for crisis core. but in another interview i read it would be hard to get everyone who made ffvii in a group again because there working on different stuff, and you have to remember some of them i think are working on the new ff13 series of games, take that in to factor, and other people in different games think of the time line in if they did remake it, it would be very far off,

You guys are being pretty naive... i read this page some guy posted "officially" from Square-Enix the reason why this was made was to show the full potential of the power of the PS3 they never said they were going to realease it... But then again they are to release FFXIII for XBOX 360, just dont get your hopes up. I am with you though if its a remake they cant spoil it cos they are remaking it just with better graphics and a faster game engine....

In my humble opinion, they're working on it. You know, all little fansites, all little sparkle of a "hey square, do a remake", they're gathering information of WHY FFVII was SO awesome and would stay, and what would change, so they can make the most epic, perfect and GOLD MINE game ever.
You know, if they spend like 100 millions making the game, they would earn at least 1 billion.
I don't think it's a matter of 'if' its a matter of 'when'. Square knows it can make millions of a remake. I think all their doing now is staling, waiting for us to become anxious and increase our intrest more and more until finaly they will announce it and probably make us wait a year or two before they actually release it and then...square enix is the richest gaming company even...:)
that would be a sick thing for them to do, but i would gladly wait for it.. preorder.... pay up to 100dollars for it... even wait a week ahead of time for it!
