If only this game was release in the u.s if it wasen't for Harmony Gold banning any Macross merchandises here this game will rock. HG is just being ignorent that's all in fact they kept Bandai for releasing Macross Ace Frontier for the psp. They just want to prove they own Macross here in the us as Robotech that's it. If only Big West and Studio Nue didn't give HG the rights for Macross here so there will be a flood of Macross merchandise.

Macross had that sappy jpop music which allowed the drama to unfold better. Robotech concentrated on action. Personally if Macross had music to fit the action better like Robotech had it make the series better. Fortunately they resolved that issue in the movie , that was a masterpiece. yeah there is but you have to be willing to open your ps2 or atleast open it once to switch the top for a flip top (if you have an old ps2). Then buy a swap magic disk (make sure it's apropriate for your ps2, being that there are different version for eash ps2). I can't honestly tell you where to buy swap magic (try ebay or google swap magic 3) as for a copy of macross japanvideogames still has some in stock

I agree, once an anime comes to North America (a lot of the dubbing is actually Canadian) people seem to think they need to change things. Westernized names was a big issue for me with Robotech. I was glad to see Macross come out on dvd here in the US as Macross. Kinda of weird hearing Edward Elric's voice when Hikaru talked but it was much better.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate change. I accept change if the motivations of change are admissable to the integrity of the conceptual text.
um i used to say that but belive me battle cry is a littile bit better why because of the controls and somo parts of the game oplay this game is only cool because u play the macross series 2 bad that battel cry didnt do this
