The developers of Forgotten Hope is highly skilled. Im amazed by how much material and detail they've made. I have not played FH2, but I did play FH1 for BF1942. Played it for years, awesome gameplay. A big thanks to the devs!

Either way - Forgotten Hope 2 is a Mod for Battlefield 2 allowing you to play in a realistic setting. The mods focus is on as much realism as possible, unlike BF1942 which was more about FPS rather than team play. The game can be downloaded for free 0 but you need BF2

Played both Battlefield 2 and Forgotten Hope 2 way back, but now I installed it again and now that I'm back they also have a Normandy setting... it looks simply incredible, very well done. Seriously, all the praise goes to mod teams like these that can improve an already legendary game from Dice, let pathetic companies like IW which re-release the same poor game all over again learn from these people.

it is in one of the boats... maybe another guy already picked it up, and i think it has a quite long respawntime.

i tried it, but i think its only effective for clearing bunkers... but quite cool effects :)

Well the Americans are totally new to the mod and the devs wanted to show them off. A British trailer wouldn't be as cool, because most of the British weapons are from previous releases. This video wasn't meant as some sort of documentary or something. Its just here to show us the new stuff. The FH2 devs gave us plenty of British and some Canadian maps. So don't assume the people who made this video are biased somehow.

Well I guess that would actually complicate things. England did coordinate with the US during military operations, but actual US citizens embedded with British units is quiet rare. But it did happen.

When was this game realeased? 3 years ago? That's how it looks. Bad graphics, and shocky characters; they seem to be floating sometimes or their feet dissapear in the ground. In my opinion not so nice looking. This trailer didn't make me want to get it. There is much better stuff out there. OFP2, ARMA 2 for example..

There is only one thing that annoys me and thats the ragdoll effect. sometimes if you are shot from below, your corps will fly 20 meters into the air and spin like a crazy shit.
