I just went on this cruise from july 2nd to the 9th. It was AMAZING! and im 13. no where better to go. Breathtaking sights that might not be there in a few years due to global warming. such a shame
oh man you were so lucky you went to glacier bay... we were scheduled to go to glacier bay but sadly a very large chunk of glacier fell off making the waters hostile so went elsewhere instead :( looking at the pics you had i really wish the ship did go to glacier bay
Returned four days ago from Alaska cruise out of Seattle. Had an awesome time! Drink prices onboard are outrageous. Do NOT buy the beverage bands! Alaska is beautiful. I recommend the jet boat tour in Ketchikan and the whale watching tour in Juneau. The bus/train trip in Skagway was fun. You gotta do the Floatplane Tour in Prince Rupert. Will do another tour someday.
hey, i was wondering if the TVs onboard had NBC or any nbc affiliate channels to watch the olympics on? I really want to catch some of the action while i am on the cruise
I did the same cruise and ship the following week. Scenery and Alaska were awesome. Weather was 60 degrees top; this ship was built for Hawaii so not the best for cold weather cruising. Food is generally overrated if you come from a decent metro area.
hey i done the same cruise in sept 06 ... i had such a great time , i also done the rockie mountineer after the cruise that was also a good experience!!!! ...lol the basket ball was fun too played in the rain !!! haha
i was on the cruise the same time as you, wasnt the cruise frickin awesome! i wish i could of stayed forever, to hang out with the frinds i made as well as my family that went.
She's a ship, not a boat! I was lucky enough to sail on the Mexican Riviera cruise on the Star. If you can ever afford a suite, the ones on this ship are amazing! Bogart's has the greatest steak in the world. Thanks NCL and great pictures
Thank you. Yes, a few were taken at night. The sun goes down at about 11PM and rises again at about 3:30AM. The picture at 03:14, was taken at about 9:45PM and it was still pretty light outside.
Nice video. Did you shoot the pictures and set up the scenes/music yourself or did you have it done professionally? I'm sailing on the same ship on May 19th. The only difference is that we are going to dock at Prince Rupert instead of Vancouver. Looking at your great pictures, I think my Wife and I will have a great time! Thanks for sharing it with us.

indeed it was a great trip, lol i remember when we were passing by all of those bears in Glacier Bay. i remember when i went whale watching over in eh...Skagway i think. ah, so many memories...although i was in the Arcade half of the time, lol. and i also agree, it was such a great ship.

They had 24/7 coverage from all the networks and CNN via satellite. It was free. The only thing onboard that was free.

I was on this boat in February to Mexico. And I see it every year on its alaskian cruise because it starts in Seattle and I live in Seattle.
