  • you never seen Moscow traffic!

  • wierd...I just got thru an hour of RUSHHOUR traffic only to get home to unwind to THIS

  • AAAAAHH

That fucking noice, and I'm not talking about the traffic...

  • That is calling to pray. The muslims pray several times a day.

  • Hehe, yes I know. I lived next door to a Mosque for one week when visiting a friend. Even some of the natives were not that happy about the 3 AM praying, but you'll get used to it. It's really loud. His mother woke up and prayed every night, it's ...different.

  • It's extremely dangerous to do that!

It's still ok when everyone is doing it at the same time but I've seen muslims doing it at a busy western Freeway in Western Europe while cars are passing by at 140 km/h.

    Extremely dangerous!

  • screw you if you dont like the call to pray then stop looking up egypt

  • i got stuck in this once! hahaha it was so fun!

more bloody fun than england traffic anyway!!!!!

  • that's Talaat Harb & 26 of july, isn't it? I stayed there this winter. I must have crossed those streets like one hundred times. And survived. Cairo is a great city.

  • Right!

  • From a balcony at the Grand Hotel.

  • @IChebKhaledI I wanna see cairo pleeeeeeeeeeeees

  • I wouldn't drive there even if they payed me to do it!

  • And I thought in Bangkok the traffic was terrible but at least there in thailand they still have traffic signs and rules, but in Cairo seems like no one has the right of way. In bangkok is just HEAVY flow but Cairo is Just ERRATIC

  • I got some history back there , with much less traffic than this!

  • I am in love with this city... AWESOME

  • they should make a lot of pedestrian overpasses.

  • cairo is amazing, its like no other city

  • u never been to asian cities with motorr bikes and bicycles, and 20 million people in a tiny city

  • no one gives a fuck...i love this city

  • jajajaja me encanta!!!

  • Still, I liked Egypt very much!!

  • ive been to cairo many times and this is probably the worst place for traffic

most of cairo is alright traffic wise

    it is an awesome city

  • when i see the people cross i think frogger in real life.lol

  • Exactly,... I was there three months ago and I had the same impression while crossing the downtown streets of Cairo,..

  • i want england to be like this

  • dude..Iranian traffic is way funnier..they dont seem to care about lanes...and i didnt see any street lights in the videos i was watching.

  • they dont bother about traffic lights! been there 2 weeks ago. check out my video on the top. ursdomingo

  • after i saw this, i´ll never complain from traffic at 1:00 o´clock at my city donwtonw, hey ppl cross the road like cows in india, cairo doesnt hava a traffic guard or public secretary of traffic?????????

  • they dont understand what traffic light is , or lanes , or something called civilization or following orders.

  • oh, your name is really true, veryfriendly :D!!!!..

Yes, we are bad in traffic, but good in a lot of other things that people in Europe and US cannot understand. If you want what Egyptians are good in, come and visit Egypt, but leave your biased mind before you come..,no offense :D

  • JESUS!!!!!!!!

  • Oh gosh how aweful O.o

  • they do have traffic lights but no one looks at

  • deliciousssss

  • O_o wow!

    that look like fun ^o)

  • you is so badddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

  • They have traffic lights!!!!! WATCH there is something white hanging over the road, thats a traffic light

  • A simple traffic light and traffic marking defining the lanes would work wonders.

  • go on foot? no?

  • يا ولااد المجانييييييييييييييين

    مصر أم الدنيا

    بحبك يا مصر

  • i miss egypt and cairo and i miss the sound of the azan "call of prayer in the background"

  • wow, chaoes to its extreme!! has its magic i believe!

  • to imagoodyear: Traffic lights? Well they have something... poles with three lights on them, you know the red, yellow and green one, but they are know as decoration amongst the folks there. No one, absolutely NO ONE cares, so what good would it do to put even more up? Three lanes, five cars, a traffic cop? To honk at and make him jump. Seen it all, but with all that chaos the city is still absolutely charming in its own way.

  • IN EGYPT:Dictator Mubarak, despotic Nazi Fascist regime, hungry people, corruption, chaos, dirtiness, illness, hatred, ignorance, fanatic Islamists, hypocrites (Azhar, media, Coptic pope Shenouda III.), fear, hassle, dirty air, dirty water, dirty streets, dirty environment, curse.

    NOT IN EGYPT:

freedom, democracy, human rights, justice, equality, science, morals, cleanness, health, tolerance, freedom of expression, trust, peace of mind, satisfaction, frankness, fixed prices, good breath, bless.

  • That's the muslim call to prayer in the background!

I was in Cairo a few years ago and all this mayhem just amazed me. The smells of car exhaust and food cooking, the sounds of cars honking and music and the call to prayer, the interweaving traffic with donkeys and pedestrians and cars...just amazing. Generally I hate traffic and noise and chaos but there was something fascinating about how all this chaotic stuff still managed to "work." I want to go back.

  • @BeckyinAtlanta Fascinating because you knew, you gotta leave this chaos soon :)

  • I like the...well, whatever that singing in the background is. But I would most definately HATE the traffic!!!!!!!!! Where are the traffic lights in these places?! Seems like this place and Moscow have that in common (no traffic lights).

  • Is the traffic always going this way in Cairo??

Or is it just because there are no traffic lights on this crossroad?

  • picture of relity, which is, middle eastern are nobrainers. no offense, don't get me wrong. watch my videos before you judge and execute me :)

  • wer hat vor vahrt??????????

  • das ist eine kreuzung mit ampeln ;)

  • this is midan tahrir right?

  • No, It's further north - 27 July Street.

  • 26th!

  • This traffic combined with the screaming muezzin... I would kill someone...

  • They need a subway system, that will help lighten the traffic.

  • Cairo has an extensive subway system.

  • Thanks for the info, may be it people should start using it more, anyways, traffic is a problem in any big city in the world, it's almost the same for example in NY or Chicago during rush hour.

  • thats amazing i went to 1 of the besyiest places in centre cairo and we had that oll night im only 14 but i would love to go visit agen sometime

  • I believe that Egypt is the funnest place to drive. This is a great video. p.s. you cam hear the call the prayer

  • Egyptiansare the loveliest people of the world! I love Cairo despite the chaos. I miss it so badly. At least you get the feeling of being in one of the world's greatest cities.

  • I agree with you 100%. Im moving to Cairo to live and work in 2010. The people are the BEST !!
