I like how she dance!! shes very original in her performances and her unique style of how to sing is amazing!! this is a true artist and I love her!! I love Madonna but nobody can be compare to Jody Watley!! shes a perfectionist!
@navygirl2007! But, Chaka Khan never had this much dance-like energy in her performances & Madonna used this same visual on her 2 backup singer/dancers for her Girlie Show tour!
hate to break the news to you, but Jody was doing it long before madonna even became famous. she's the one biting off Jody's coattails, not the other way around.

Think this showed how strong her material was that she could leave some of the best songs on the second release and still go multi platinum as opposed to releasing the strongest songs for more sales. The second one was much stronger and varied than her first solo release...each one after revealed more artistic growth. Loved the energy in this performance and remember seeing it years ago.
Love this song. They never pushed it. This remix version is most likley why it didn't take of. Much too busy. Louis remixed her remix CD with some great stuff. I feel he hurt this song with his remix.

Jody can sing too. She can even handle jazz standards as she demonstrated on Arsenio.
Madonna still struggles carrying a tune of more than 4 or 5 notes.
