@ShowYourWorking if you ask about the model, I don't know exactly but it stood at the Holyland hotel for many years and it has been at its current location at the Museum of Israel at least since 2006.

Yeh, Herod's Temple. THe Talmud adores it all, because the Jerusalem priests, Herod and the Romans were in cahoots toegther, to hold power, and wealthy.

All three, esp. Herod, werehated virulentlyby the Judeans for:

-Herod was a foreigner AND appointed king by the Romans.

-Herod raised taxes to the nth, tfor the Temple-not only to rebuiltd, but to add, and the most costly material. AND his vacation palaces.

What was a temple worth in exchange for the suffering of the Judeans?

Who ever would ever know, that after 2000 years of wanderings Jews came back tom their homestead..Because of all our sacrifices, we have survived we survived the Greeks the romans, the Spanish inquisitions the Russian tsars, and the European concentration camps.
