maybe if you worried on driving instead of putting more work into the gear box you'd be better off. its not the car, you just cant shift.

It was his first time driving that type of car and the shift orientation is different to what he's used to. Reverse is normally on the other side of the gate. I don't have a problem. Just something you have to get used to. He can certainly drive. The limiting factor was not driver.

Yeh I know, but the gearbox is now coming out and stripped to work out why. It didn't like going into 1st either which is not good for the starts.
