I gave up my study of taichi because of a seemingly lax approach of our teacher and maybe even incompetence. I always wondered when the man (or a woman:) can take up teaching chen taichi, is there some formal initiation? I mean the form is pretty cool, but somewhat not ripe. The left shoulder sometimes gets out of place. But hey, I would love to reach this level.
