Ever heard about the many malfunctions these rifles have during combat in Wanat, Kamdesh, and several other towns in Afghanistan? Those guns never did good job ever since they went on service more than 40 years ago. Many people got killed (and still get killed) by the constant jamming problems, and also its caliber is ridiculously small. More like a toy gun to me. The US needs a better rifle, like the

an AR15 and an M4 are different from what little i know which is an M4 is the military version and is always gas DI operated whereas a AR15 can be gas DI or gas-piston which are similar but also very different. The gas-piston system is more AK like ei: jams less, less maintenance, etc. So that being said i dont know about how Olympic Arms makes them but you shouldnt assume its gas DI

Why do you like the fixed carry handle? A flattop with a removable handle works just as well, plus you have the option of removing it for a red dot sight, etc.
Yeah I get what you're saying about the removable carry handle but I like the simplicity of the fixed handle. Its not much but I like the little subtle things like a slimmer handguard and classic buttstock. The simpler the better in my opinion.

why is it that my Oly AR shorty would shoot about a 2 foot flame, and so would my friend's Colt shorty but most ARs I see shoot maybe a 6inch flame or nothing? Bube the assault weapons ban is still in place in california under SB23 the DOJ got tired of adding Names to the Ban list so they created "californias definition of an assault weapon" there are certain banned features such as pistol grips and folding stocks, yes you can still get the features but you must have a fixed 10 round magazine in order to comply to california law, not following these regulations is a felony... try visiting Calguns and read up on SB23 and youll know what im talking about

The laws didn't work... They don't work.
They will never work... If I didn't care about going to prison or not (which a true criminal wouldn't) I could go in my garage and build a gun in several hours... They're too easy to build... It is like trying to make grass (the type in your yard) illegal...

Hahahahahaha, I'm black and I can't figure out why people are so worried about Obama 'taking' their guns. If you're a law-abiding citizen you'll be able to get a gun/weapon with no problem.
The guy is goin g to make it tough for people with a rec to get one for sure.
I swear the hysteria and panic. I truly think it's other personal reasons people don't like the guy and use this among other arguments.

I can care less what color you are. Im an Indian America but thats not even remotely relevant. It's the fact that obama is a lying sack of shit. The executive branch has no authority to touch the second amendment. He wants a 500% tax increase on ammo. Then there was the DC gun ban.
An other reason why people are stocking up is becuase it's our last defence when Obama devalues the dollar with his frivolous spending and the federal reserves printing.

Why do you like the fixed carry handle? A flattop with a removable handle works just as well, plus you have the option of removing it for a red dot sight, etc.

Yeah I get what you're saying about the removable carry handle but I like the simplicity of the fixed handle. Its not much but I like the little subtle things like a slimmer handguard and classic buttstock. The simpler the better in my opinion.

Military and law enforcement professionals define and assualt rifle as FULLY AUTOMATIC...this video is a demostration of a fully legal carbine rifle, as it's operation is SEMI AUTOMATIC. I've run several variants of AR15, and several hundred thousand rounds.
I've built, repaired, reloaded and I would not own an OLY to save my life, because, unless you own an AR15 as a toy to plink, it is a tool of life saving, a tool of defense, and for that you need something that is gonna fill those needs.
Otherwise, the chance is, when you need it the most, it will fail you.

I'll take the Pepsi challenge with my Oly vs. any rifle you have. Oly makes their weapons and aside from Bushmaster the rest are made somewhere ells. Plus mine comes with a life time warranty none of the ones you listed do. For proof of accuracy just go to livetosoot(dot)com look up testimonials. I shot 30 rounds @ 50yds and cover the hole with a quarter.

why is it that my Oly AR shorty would shoot about a 2 foot flame, and so would my friend's Colt shorty but most ARs I see shoot maybe a 6inch flame or nothing? I mean the flame from mine would be like 12 inches in diameter and 18 inches out of the barrel but to a point like a greek sword or something.

You realize that the reason a lot of people keep firearms is to DEFEND those very same children and spouse you speak of. If you're responsible with your weapons, you won't have to worry about your family being harmed. In fact, one day they may be how you prevent your family or yourself from being harmed by a criminal.

In 1982 Kennesaw Georgia( city VERY close to Atlanta) passed a city-wide law that states that every home is to have at least one firearm. A law to force you to own a gun!
In the past 25 years since the law has been in effect, there has been NO MURDERS in Kennesaw. The petty crime rate has dropped also.The city has since been nick-named "Guntown USA". These arent ficticious numbers pulled from the net. No, I live near Kennesaw and got a hard copy of those numbers directly from the city clerk.

Bube the assault weapons ban is still in place in california under SB23 the DOJ got tired of adding Names to the Ban list so they created "californias definition of an assault weapon" there are certain banned features such as pistol grips and folding stocks, yes you can still get the features but you must have a fixed 10 round magazine in order to comply to california law, not following these regulations is a felony... try visiting Calguns and read up on SB23 and youll know what im talking about

I own three, and live in California. You can own AR15, but there's a catch. If you want to move that's fine, but if you are serious about sticking it to the man, owning an AR is probably the best way to do it.
