@edwardcullen2604 You're persistant. And that's most likely spelled wrong. :P Thanks for the comments! (Wow, my book shelf has changed sooo much!! - Random, I know.)
Trying other foods is a wonderful way to learn what else there is besides dark chocolate and how great other things can taste, as well as give you an idea of just how great foods combined can be when they form something wonderful and new.
Similarly, only one favorite other is like the dark chocolate. Good to begin with, but you are lacking in experience if that is all you expose yourself to and limit your interpretation of great writing with.
Mark Twain once said: "If you ever find yourself on the side of the majority, pause and reflect."
In other words, let's say you like dark chocolate. Nothing else compares because of the smooth, bittersweet taste, the creamy flavor as it coats your tongue melting in your mouth. The sensation of cocoa essence lingers in your mouth long afterwards. These things are so great, you might not want to consider anything else to eat. But without other nutrition, you get sick and deficient.
Thanks for the comment! And I understand what you're trying to say, and, trust me, I'm not going to limit myself to one kind of 'chocolate' (but dark chocolate? EW!). lol.
It's kind of ironic that you're worrying about show and tell, considering Stephenie Meyer is one of the worst authors when it comes to telling and not showing. And also the video about developing characters, considering her characters are as one-dimensional as it gets. Seriously, you'd think you'd have higher standards if you want to become a better writer.
Umm....not sure what to think about that. I disagree with you. I think she shows a lot. And her characters are not one dimensional. They are real to the reader.
good eye! Because I'm totally obsessed and when Eclipse Special Edition came out and it had the 1st chapter of Breaking Dawn in in like 3 months before it came out, I couldn't resist. :) Yeah.
What is you're book even about anyway
