Capcom changed their story quite a few times, I believe Gman6755 referred to the Street Fighter II movie. But as far as the game goes, yeah, it was Ryu Bison mind screwed, not Ken. The main thing though, those were some nice battles. I don't however, think anyone should have thought Ken and Sakura strong enough to beat Bison when he was fully powered. I still don't get how he survived to SF2, not with the way the story is. Maybe he had a back up plan for if he failed. But B.Ryu would be tough.
@EvilRyuGuy i agree with you. although, in the animated movie, ken was the one who was brainwashed, while in street fighter V, it was ryu who got brainwashed... which is which?

According to Capcom, Guile and Charlie gave Bison a real fight, and Bison was forced to leave...in part because he didnt see the point in fighting them...but this fight should have been similar, or simply shouldnt have shown a winner.

@brunobelz ... Dude, Sagat was dealing with a similar version of Ryu. He doesn't use the Dark Hadou (Satsu no Metsu) at will. Evil Ryu is a "bonus" character so to speak. He never actually made any appearance except for when he fought Sagat. And no, the movies and tv shows aren't canonical either.
I think the reason he's thinner after SFA is because he had a new body made for him after his original one was destroyed. It's weaker than the original, but still powerful.
heh he is always having new bodies. its like his original body from the beginning before akuma killed him (?) in world warrior was thin.. reminded me of the one he has after alpha like in capcom vs snk 2. They need to like change his body completely. Like give him a black mans body or asian or something dramatically different, cuz in reality all the faces look the same in all the bodies like he just keeps his head but differ body lol.

The U.S. "Vega" was originally named Balrog.
Also, they had to change M.Bison's (JAP) name to Balrog in the U.S. because of a possible lawsuit.
