I can not tell you how much I appreciate you doing posting these. 1991 I was out of high school and working nights at the Tennessee State Penn. Two things happened, one I missed a lot of wrestling because I was generally asleep at nine on Saturday morning and my VCR was toast. Two, working at the prison I met Tony Eden, one of the original Moondogs!!
what's funny is the referre's name is frank morell, which is my last name...been trying to find out if maybe im a relative, but noone seems to know...man i enjoyed seeing this stuff growing up
@OaktownABQ At the time, McMahon wasn't sue happy as he would become. Keep in mind that one of the original members of Demolition took that gimmick with him to Continental and wrestled as "Detroit Demolition" and McMahon didn't bat an eyelash.
@OaktownABQ If I'm not mistaken, Warrior owned the rights to the Ultimate Warrior name at the time the match took place under his company, Ultimate Creations. Therefore, McMahon couldn't do anything about it.
TY for the Moondog matches. These guys were devastating to say the least. Funny how theres always a metal chair @ ringside. & wow that Warrior guy was pathetic..HaHa
The Warrior: still better than the Renegade.

He wasn't an inmate, by the way.

The Warrior isn't the Renegade, was he?
Glad to see Randy Lewis survived the Humongous gimmick to become the Spirit of America.

@salanh They're two different people.

Spirit of America was USWA's bad attempt of creating a hacksaw jim duggan gimmick.

I bet The Warrior got the gimmick because he resembles a young Ultimate Warrior.

@denniswanker His name might be a stage name.

That "Warrior" was such an obvious rip off of the Ultimate Warrior, I'm surprised Mr. McMahon didn't sic his attorneys on the USWA.

@OaktownABQ you are right about that.

@OaktownABQ Keep in mind WWF and USWA worked together, with USWA being a good source of young talent.
