There is no bloody way that Chinese wine tastes like European wine. I've tasted lots of Chinese wine when I was in China. I couldn't even swallow the crap. Before you think I'm ignorant, I should mention that I own a winery and trade wine internationally. This woman is totally lying...surprise, surprise!
fun fact: relationships where the woman make more money have a HIGH failure rate because men don't like it when a woman rules the home and women don't when a man is calling the shots when they are making more money...
Wrong! Men don't care if a woman makes more money. The women are the ones who feel like the man must take care of the family financially, the man must be taller than her in heels, and be masculine enough to protect her from bad guys.
ahh Alcoholism and filial piety... when you send your daughter to a British college just so that she can one day become president of a vineyard and produce wine for you. And I thought I was an alcoholic. Either way I hope she's happy.
why do you make moral judgments? so her dad liked wine. who cares? what makes you purer or better to be able to judge other people's success. jealous perhaps?
Not jealous, like i said I hope she is happy with her life. She said " I started a winery purely because my dad liked to drink, he thinks its a romantic idea...that's how everything got started." Did she have a choice? The issue isn't about her father just enjoying wine. Its about him determining his daughter's life upon his own self interests (even if she is very successful at it). But if she enjoys it, more power to her. I just think if he wanted a winery he should have opened it himself.
@Tewkii No worries there enough consumers in China itself to buy the wine for those companies to make money. So they don't care if you don't buy their product.

I would be kind of sceptic to drink a wine where it said "made in China" on the bottle...
