I'm 100% Vietnamese, born and raised in Vietnam. I think your Vietnamese is quite good but I think you have one problem in the letter sound. You said TÔI (I) but it seems like THÔI (stop) to me. I think you need to practice "T" more.

When you say hello to the public, you should say "Chào các bạn", don't use that "Chào các ông các bà"! Its sounds... horrifying.... Like when a little Vietnamese girl watch your video, she'll say "Woa! Why is that guy calling me grandma?" You know,'cause "bà" could mean "grandma" in Vietnamese. You should practice more about the pronunciation. Good luck on studying Vietnamese. It's a hard way.We Vietnamese sometimes don't know a lot of words, even in our mother language. Anyway,wish you success.

Not bad. I understood most of what you said. Only thing you gotta work on are the pronunciations. Try not to pronounce the 'Q' sound in words like "quá" forcefully. The way you pronounced quá was actually more closer to the word for 'Key' instead of the word "a lot". Just sort of roll over it so it sounds like its coming from the back of your throat more. For words that start with the 'th' sound like in thôi sounds a bit like how you would pronounce the beginning of the word "thorn". Good luck.

Which language is Vietnamese similar to? Also, which Chinese dialect is it most similar to? I heard that vietnamese sounds very similar to Cantonese and some other southern Chinese dialects..haha a lot of people strongly criticize cantonese, and how Beijing mandarin is like the best and standard chinese, but I really like how cantonese sounds. I think it sounds better than mandarin.

You're really good, your "th" sound is not available in Vietnam, you MUST pronounce it like "t", remember. it's not "th". Good luck^^

dude, keep in mind the T and TH. The "T" in Viet pronounce like "TH" in English and "TH" pronounce like "T" in English. example: "THAN" would sounds like "TAN" in English..
