Since i first saw his live performence of Ocean (absolutely astonishing), i can now comfortably say that John Butler is probably my absolute favourite guitarist in the world.

He is just so original, awesome, and humble!

His singing is unique, it is incredibly hard to sing whilst playing guitar like that, and as a musician myself, i think he is extremely good at what he does. His guitar playing is incredible and his vocals are quite good.

I mean it's impressive that he can do both simultaneously and his guitar playing is sweet but you can't knock someone for not liking his voice. Music taste is subjective and while John Butler definitely holds key and sings just fine not everyone is going to dig his steez...especially when there are singers out there who are just ridonculous (rih-DON-kyu-luss). There you have it, my two cents.
