Button Mashing makes you lose, the first few games when my friend tried to just mash punches and stuff Id just KO him because he wasnt defending. Or get a takedown reversal easily.
you guys really need to learn how to judge your proper striking distances instead of just standing face to face. Also, use your jab as you sidestep. Quit going straight back so much when you are engaged.

I know about falling backward. I use that to rest and regain my composure sometimes. So how do you fake a takedown with Shogun then? I don't see it anywhere on the move list.
This video is epic, by the way. The first fight is just a legendary comeback. I also like how the mouthguard flies across the canvas due to impact at the end of the second fight. The third fight you guys just slugged it out and threw bombs.
What did Shogun do at 2:18 after blocking the right superman punch? He looked like he either ducked to avoid high attacks or was faking for a takedown. I've seen this a few times but could never figure out how to do it (or even what it is).
He faked a takedown. His style allows you to do stuff like that, you can also just make yourself fall backwards inviting someone to the ground game so you can submit them lol.
