actually this game is not complete..... it was originally going to be released combined with sonic&knuckles in one game, but was separated due to cart cost constraints..... so in my opinion sonic 3&knuckles is the best sonic game. it has ALL the levels all the plotline and three characters to play with.......plus it has hyper sonic and super mecha sonic!

There's a secret inside the bonus stages, which you apparently haven't figured out yet: if there's a group of blue spheres wider than 2 rows, try making the spheres on the outside red.

The result is that the blue spheres in the middle (and the first row of red ones on the outside) becomes rings

I like Sonic 2's Bonus stages better but I like the Bosses of 3 better, except the Last Boss of Sonic 2 is better. However I would say, at the time when each was new, Sonic 2 was the most exciting to play.
