  • I'm 36, got this from my mother as a gift 20 years ago! Pure magic! For 1974 it was mind-bending, and still is. Tubby, Pablo,Miller plus the all star muscians backing a hard riddim. Has a bit of a dark vibe, raw, yet polished, truly a master class album.

King tubby meets Rockers up Town, and this album should be sent into outer space for the galaxy to hear.

  • Big up! I´m looking for a tune from jacob miller made for michael manley with this lyrics: Heavy Wonderful, Dupe them with the microdot. Socialism no fool No, socialism no fool We have them under manners, Heavy, heavy manners Michael Manley no fool Socialism no fool. Seen in the movie from beats of the heart THX
  • The dub of this track is on Augustus` King Tubby Meets The Rockers Uptown album, but you probably already know that :) cheers another great post

  • what year is did track from?

  • This was the first song that Jacob Miller recorded under the production of Augustus Pablo. The tracks were laid down at Dynamics Studio in 1974. Miller was 22 at the time. The song was actually done as a "remake" of Miller's earlier Jamaican hit "Love is a Message" that he had recorded at Studio One in 1968. Check out the album "Who Say Jah No Dread" for more Jacob Miller/Augustus Pablo recordings. Great album IMHO..

  • Love this song....

    It is mezmerizing...

My question to you is, what is he trying to tell us with these lyrics? Everytime I hear them I get different scenarios in my mind...
