  • Love it love it love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I listen this song more then 4500 Times!!

  • I was there. It was my first ever concert and I was 16 years old. I thought that all gigs would be as good as this...I was wrong (apart from Queen, who just eclipsed the Quo)...

  • 9:50 to 10:15 it gets u to cum

  • I'm so glad they got this on tape :-)

  • On the Top

  • what a performance..its a shame they dont put a show on like this now.. but rossie and parffite are getting on a bit..lol

  • One of their best!

  • This version was edited and was originally half an hour long. And the original was just under 10 minutes

  • I was there.

Japanese takeaway for lunch and a terrible pint of Duck bitter after

  • status quo are still the best live band in the world witht wonderful be happy sound

  • parfitt was scared that this was the last time they would perform these songs! think he was right as now this great song gets about 2 minutes in the new set!!!! do it properly like the great original rockin quo band or don't bother.

  • 17 mins of pure rock n roll

  • You've seen a half hour version. I think i've heard that they did do a half hour version of this

  • Stunning! Was there, my first QUO gig, now over 30 :)

  • Saddest day of my life!! I was 18 and went to about 20 gigs on the End Of The Road tour and remember this like it was yesterday..BRILLIANT gig but getting off the car park at the end was longer than the gig!! AWESOME BAND.

  • This version lasted 16:27 the original is only 9:54. But the longest version of this i've seen is 21:31 a live version i've seen

  • @Meatloaforever . . . . . . i'm pretty sure when I saw them at Hammersmith in '79 AFTER they did Wembley (which was the first time I saw them - 14 ) the version they did was close to half an hour. Fucking amazing band live. I can't believe they havn't got John & Alan for a real re-union...even if they did do it for the money, what the hell, it would be fantastic. Having said that, Alan 'n' John probably listen/see them and think 'fuck that, no way) Alan/John were the 'BALLS' behind the band ...

  • @fictionuk wiv u there mate..

  • @Meatloaforever This performance of the song was actually cut short in the editing of the DVD. The full version is about 20 minutes or so. I'm not sure how many times they did this but I remember them playing the song for just a little bit longer than half an hour once. Got it on bootleg somewhere.

  • Quo one of the best bands to come out of the UK, Legends

  • I was at this concert and this version of 4500 Times is one of my all time favourites.

  • @FunkingHostile maybe?? the live album was the best in my ears!!!

  • @bullshitdetective1 . . . Abso-fucking-lutely......that and the 'Hello' album......and 'Piledriver'....and 'On The Level' . . . . 'Quo' good but so is 'Dog Of Two Head'......:-)

  • @FunkingHostile this version is still fantastic..'cos it's shows everyone, that Quo the one and only super live band is.........since 40 years......hope to see them once again in germany near my home....since the concert in montreux i only can say.......much older.....much better....only 7 days..then the new album is mine...:-)

  • simply awesome, even some 27 years later, The Quo, The Best...end of

  • Im going to see them 19th october in amsterdam =D

  • The greatest song ever!!

  • First concert i have ever seen was status quo at amsterdam.

Piledrivertour that was. In the earley 70's

I was about 9 ore 10 years old.

    one word AWSOME.

Saw them lots of time's after that one.

Thanks to my older brother for taking me along.

  • Its gotta be on the something you must do at least once list, see the quo live i can assure you that u wouldnt b dissapointed. Legends!!!

  • just love this....after thirty one years of attending their gigs, this must rate as my favourite era...

  • I was 17 when i went to this tour. 2 nights at southampton gaumont. my dad picked me up after the gig and said that didnt sound to bad when he was standing outside waiting for the show to end. i took him to see quo in '97 at bornemouth. he was 67 years old and he loved it.

  • Could not be better.....LOVE it

  • yes...mister rossi is criminally under-rated...but we know..and he knows..so fook them others!

  • Maybe i can find a hand for my hand if i find a well for my wishing.........

  • maybe i can find a hand for my hand if i find a well for my wishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i was at this concert--one of the greatest days of my life. appeared on the official video albeit crowd shots. the greatest band of their type and 26 years on they are still kicking arse. fabulous band-one of a kind.

  • This is my favourite Quo song. Believe it or not.

  • one of the best from rhe rest up thier with big fat momma backwater just take me and roadhouse blues quo at the best try to get the quo live album superb from the glasgow appollo

  • THE best song from quo.it should appear on all of the quo g/hits albums but the fact that it is so song stuffed that idea i think.even on the hello album it was about 9 minutes long.

rossi is the most gifted guitar player on the planet and its great that they are still quoin it today.

stuff your stones, they are good in there own right but quo has been underated all these years.

even in australia there is not one band past or present that i can think of that can make the guitar talk like that.

  • . There's no other band like them! I could watch this over and over again. Rossi reigns on the guitar. Long live THE QUO>

  • 1 word AWESOME

  • Three people missed the correct button !

One of the best songs that were ever performed on stage all over the world.

  • Brilliant! I was there :) When Quo were a real rock band and not the tribute act they are now

  • Was at this gig as a spotty 19 year old, Boiling hot day - got sun stroke !! Shed a tear as I left as I thought I'd never see Quo ever again 'live' but they're still going & so am I, This is just the definitive Quo song so it's on the playlist for my funeral. Rock on boys !!

  • That was phenominal! F**king brill!

  • i was there to that day just found this am just a bit nostalgic

QUO at there very very best reg + frame giving it some

dont give a fk nobody i mean nobody can do it like QUO

4500 TIMES I TOLD YOU HOW MUCH I CARE !

  • shit fuckin hot!!!!

  • they should just do a full gig of just this song you could rock to this all night long facking awesome ROLL WITH THE QUO BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABY

  • Was in the crowd loved every minute!!!!!

  • In a fantasy world, i'd have loved to have seen Jeff Rich in the band along side Alan Lancaster. With all due respect to Pete, Jeff was a far more technical drummer and would have nailed this song!!!!!!!!!

  • We all luv em

  • 4:10 alan lancaster top!

  • I was there that day. What a gig. I,m married now with 2 kids and this is still one of the best days of my life, and your right rossi is a brilliant lead guitarist and very under rated.

  • Woop Woop This is gonna be my funeral song !!! Love it!!

  • THE QUO AT THERE VERY BEST>>>> AWSOME

  • I love how they drag the 70's kicking and screaming into every decade since, yet still make it look cool.

  • thank you thank you thank you,quo at their best

  • I WOS THERE

  • QUO - the best and still the best) - LIVE band I ever saw !! . Simple? -= yeah maybe but YOU try and play it like they do for 1.5 hrs - 2hrs straight.....

  • Quo fuckin`rock!!!!! They still do it in 2010 ! Brilliant Band! Rock on..

    ;)

  • Francis is quite clearly off his rocker at the start lol - glad that it wasn't the end of the road. Anybody catching Francis on his solo tour this summer?

  • Glasgow Apollo e o t r. tour 1984 saw real tears in Rick's eyes that night and in the eyes of many a good session in Lauders Bar before gig ensured high spirits going in but stunned silence going home on the train this was the end ....really it was!!! must have been a wee bad dream me thinks! now. ....Rock On .Jimmy Down Unda!!!!

  • xellent

  • that was the best ever performance by quo, watched it over and over !! thanks for posting xx

  • The (approx) 30 minute version of 4500 times I saw Quo perform at Hammersmith was '79 when they did (I think) 3 nights at Wembley then announced they were doing the 7 night run at Hammersmith. I was 14 and they blew my f*ckin' 'ead orf

  • rock and roll, man! they're the best. simple as. people can argue but they've been doing it for 45 years in 2010. hardest working band ever and it show's. awesome.

  • @OohErMrs

You couldn't have expressed QUO any better.

    Cheers.

  • so so soooo great. i love this song so much, and this long version

  • WOW this live is even better than the album version!

  • I once saw Quo do (if I can remember) a nearly 30 min version of this back in the day at Hammersmith Odeon. I may be wrong but from what I can remember it was a fucking long version. What a tune !

This was the last line up that was any good. Pete Kircher is a friggin good drummer and was a great replacement for JC.......

  • Is this avaible on DVD or anything?

  • was out on video think my sister still has it. Should be availiable on back order, it was a crackin gig Iknow cos I was there......

  • Wish it was, They keep saying though that the Negatives for this show have been destroyed. Maybe someone could make a half decent DVD out of the VHS vids but thats about it.

  • La perfection existe STATUS QUO

  • I always did like this song.....simply Awesome

  • Thanks for all the comments about the video, nice to see people appreciate this awesome song as much as myself.

Favourite bit though Francis' solo @ 13:40, only him on the guitar and he is kicking arse! and without even looking half the time.

Truely an underrated player if ever there was!

  • @craggers agreed, such a decent player, should be in the rock guitar hall of fame or whatever its called, good song, and great concert....i managed to pick up the second part that this song is off on betamax, lol....really old

  • @craggers I thank you for this video so much. Quo still makes fun fun fun. It is so awesome. This song is one of their best. I love long songs und good guitar soli.

    Quoooo ooooh hoooo hoooo ooooh!!!

  • @craggers I used to watch this video every other week when i was growing up! thank you so much for posting it i bumped into this by accident and have been happily sitting looking back at the sheer amazing band that is Quo. Its quite hard to comprehend that it would be 9 years after this was released that i would finally see them! Still have my quo jacket from when i was around 7 my dad had it custom made :D haha

  • @joedog971 Ahh thanks troll!! You just enjoy trying to sell your gay little baseball cards on the internet, you sure are bald for a 12 year old =D

  • @joedog971 what a twat you are. Shut the fuck up.

  • @joedog971 you complete cunt!!!!! i'm the daddy here!!! been here since they started!!

  • @joedog971 aahhh again a justin bieber fan :S

  • Fooking Class guys

  • End of the road was brilliant at Keines

  • ''End of the Road'' was a very good tour...

  • MIght have been the 'end of the road' for that line up.

But 25 Years on, Quo are still rocking all over the world

  • they are the best

  • puros pinches comentarios en ingles, y los de mexico donde se quedaron pinche bola de gueyes. y el STATUS QUO es el mejor grupo hoy por hoy en todo el mundo y para muestra esta cancion que esta bien perrona.

  • Underrated Legends, never really get praised for their talent, just 3 chords from musically ignorant nobs.

  • Dude

  • Great comment, Fella

  • True though ain't it, they even take the piss at the critics by their in search of the fourth chord album, coz the critics prob think they actually are searching for it.

  • great video

  • Id have liked to seen Quo with Lancaster and Jeff Rich....would have been an intresting line up!

  • one of the best rock tunes ever and that's official ,,,

  • second that

  • this so effing good one of there best tunes

  • I have to agree,

saw them last year, just awesome.

  • IMHO There just isn't another band IN THE WORLD that can do this sort of stuff.

There are many that would like to think they can 'Rock' like QUO - but they can't.

THE greatest 'TRUE' Rock Band that has ever taken to the stage. There will never be another.

    Enjoy the boogie !

  • @Whaddaboutye I agree my friend but not let us forget Uriah Heep !!

they were fokkin great too back in those days !!

love Quo 4 ever though !!

from friggin Holland yours sinceraly >> etc :-)

oh yeah and thanx 4 posting this !!

  • what a group, so fantastic. I saw them live back in the 70s

  • is this one of the longest rock tracks? any other rock/metal bands have a song that goes on for longer? :s

  • Quo did Is it really me/gotta go home that could last beyond 30 minutes...the Black Crowes have done songs that have been close to 45mins - but then they are more just "long jams" and not songs

  • Led Zeppelin - Dazed and Confused 29mins on the rock remains OST

Pink Floyd - Dogs 18mins,Atom Heart Mother 23mins Echoes 23 mins

  • this is realy realy cool!

  • LOVE IT ROCK ON QUO

  • is this song as long as this on the hello album?????? love the solo at 13:35

  • The original went on for something like 20+ minutes

  • sucks they cut parts out of it :P i bought the video's and it's really a shame they didnt make a 3rd one so the entire gig would be available.

  • They did too - end of the 70's I used to drive 22 miles to (shift) work - windy roads, 3 towns with speed limits - had double tape live -this track was 20 minutes - tried to drive the 22 miles in 20 minutes for three years - never did - fun trying

  • Thanks, Craggers. I had forgotten how good Quo were live. I saw them twice in the early 80s -some of their studio stuff was a bit iffy but live they were a different class - how can anyone not have a good time rocking out to this is beyond me.

  • Love this song ...Status Quo...Rock On boys.

  • 13:30 fantastic solo

  • I was at this, 16 I was at the time...

  • 19 minutes of pure fuckin headbanging! class

  • 19 minutes!

    how could you make it.

after 3minutes i'm confused and don't know, were is right and left

  • get drunk is the answer my man! lol

  • shit hot this is....

  • The best song of the best band!

    Quo rocks!!

  • The two official videos from this gig are for sale on Ebay in the same auction "End of the Road" and "More from End of the Road". Sorry for the plug...great band!

  • In the 70s and very early 80s they were the Best British rock band. So under rated. They F***** ROCK.Fantastic

  • Awesome!

  • Best band ever. Nothing comes close. In the magical line up tho: Rick, Alan, John and Francis.

  • quo fan man and boy this one is the ultimate to get your head goin'.may they rock forever

  • great song

  • i was there, shame i was to wasted to remember it lol.quo r the fuckin best rock band to c live,u cum away with a good vibe
