These same areas have been trawled since I filmed this and completely destroyed forever. At least we saw how great the area was before our gov't destroyed it for cheap scallops. I've never eat a trawled scallop since that day so even I didn't know any better.
@COHPSCANADA is it possible to take pictures of that again of how it is now and make a video of before after? because people seem to not understand what harm that trawling is doing.
@hellerase Fishermen and the government say it cant be done but it is really simple and easy to put a camera in a small cage and even if it was caught down it would break free. No problem but here in Canada marine science is dumbed down to shooting seals to bring back commercial groundfish abundance. The problem is that fish quota is sold by quota brokers that have very dangerous goons that benefit from our corrupt society and would never allow me to go back out there.
