They do have free speech. It's just the Gaza protest was blocking a pedestrian thoroughfare, which is illegal. Hence why the police got involved. Bunch of bourgeois idiot students.

Thank the lord its going on over there as well...since we are all being arrested and censored....what can we do? Protest and get arrested again? I tell you this police state is everywhere, not just in the USA, UK...everwhere. Its sad. Good to see you all protesting this bullshit. Good job.

this protest is laughable. the university practises a dictatorship with no rights for its students. like the rest of the country with fake rights to its citizens who are monitored 24/7. learn from universities like in Cyprus and Greece.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH: Islam is a political, expansionist dogmatic and violent religion that imposes it's way through intimidation and demography. Therefore, an honest discussion about this is needed sooner rather than later. any decent muslim is also a victim of the way this religion portrays itself in the world. Freedom of speech is NOT negotiable
The right to speak and to hear others speak.
The right to learn and to decide for yourself what you want to think, hear and say instead of others deciding that FOR YOU.
Freedom of speech is educational, sometimes offensive, creates solutions and prevents violence. Suppression of opinions destabilizes a society on the long run and shuts it down, freedom is then gone.

4. The right not to be fined for or refused to have or distribute a petition or to have or hold a peaceful demonstration.
5. The right to engage in the aforementioned activities without having to request prior permission and to simply inform the University Authorities of any such intention.
