Dorothy Collins, who was the "lead singer" on "YOUR HIT PARADE" in the '50s, also delivered their Lucky Strike commercials on film (which were also seen on most of their other sponsored series, including "THE JACK BENNY PROGRAM" and "ROBERT MONTGOMERY PRESENTS")- by 1954, she was known as "The Sweetheart of Lucky Strike". This is from a December 1955 telecast {that season, Richard Hudnut hair care products were the "alternate sponsor" of "YOUR HIT PARADE"}.
