  • i can't figure out how to put audio in the video to make your people talk.

  • Well you need a Mic. then go into programs and accesories and youl see voice recorder. Record you're voice and save uit in the file you want. Go on movie maker and click import audio or music on the side. then go into the file u saved it in and click on it. ten it will import and you can put it on the time line

  • Great video. Awesome. It really helped me a lot. The only problem I'm having is getting my camera hooked up to the computer. I have it plugged in, put it is in transfer mode, so it is much harder to do stop motion or claymation. My camera is a Nikon Coolpix S210. If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it. I am posting a video on that. But anyway, You're video was very helpful to me and I've suscribed

  • thanks

  • Thanks good man. That was a great tutorial

  • cool, what mic do you use for your claymations?

  • .good tutorial!

you know if you go to tools>options>advanced on moviemaker, you can change the picture duration of ALL the pictures on the timeline so you dont need to shorten all of the individual shots one at a time. Then you can use the speed up double effect on each shot to make the sequence even smoother!!!! Just for future reference....

  • can u speed up double on all of them?

  • yeah. so if you bring one pic to .13 seconds, and then add the speed double effect, itll bring it down to .07 seconds. you can do it to all of them.

  • can u walk me through the tools-options-advanced coz when i set it to the shortest speed on the number things nothing happens (do u need to select them all or sumthin plz reply!)

  • you need to set that first, and then add the pic sequence

  • ......how come wmm is so crap? im getting no where near 15fps even when i speed it up double!

what do you use is animatordv anygood (the free one)

  • use animatorDV for a little while. If you have a mac, get istopmotion. If you have Windows, get Adobe Premiere Elements

  • or sony vegas, it works well...

  • Not bad. You should re-title your video to How to do Claymation on the cheap. I know several people do it using more expensive software and equipment to do it. But the way you did it is very simple and cheap. Good job!

  • tahts not a bad thought, but the reason why i uploaded this is because one of my buddies wanted to know how i make my films.

  • nice hair cut

  • nice hair cut

  • thank you soo much ...i have windows movie maker so now i am gonna try

  • thanks man! I didnt know much about making stop action films, so i thought you needed expensive software, or stop-motion cameras. I have tried taking pics and reducing them, but i got a crappy framerate. I never tried zooming in and reducing them. Awesome!

  • wow ur amazing and smart keep it up!

  • i need help how do i chage my frames per second?

  • thanks this really helped me

  • that's where i went wrong...didn't use wire to make the skeleton for my figurines

  • how do you make the person? My sound isn't that good and I couldn't hear what you said. (I need new speakers) :)

  • He said that he makes an "endoskeleton". and places the clay over it.

Basically, get some failry sturdy metal wire, and make the characters skeleton. Then, place clay over it. For more indepth help, visit:
