i have a ? for you about the tackle for the paylakes ! i am using 20 pound berkly big cat line (main line) and straw the same lenght as my 13 inch lighthouse floats! have you ever used these lighthouse floats they work relley well to hol your live bait? should i make a 17 pound test leader or a 25 ? thanks hows the fishin goin? gatta bustem! i was at jullie ann and i was usin worms my thll went down and i busted A BLUEGILL!! people and stiff rods kill me you do NOT need a stiff rod to catch blues or shovels i use the lightest rod made for catfish and 20 excel and land hawgs all the time my biggest so far this year is 5 over 40 biggest was 46
