wow.. the 6 6 that was played must have been a big error.. first of all he have to look at the possibilty, that his opponent can run away with som big numbers.. If he hadn't cleared the 24 point, he could still had opputunuties to get some shots, if he had left 2 chekers on the ace point.. my play is bar/20, 24/18 and 7/1(2) .. your timing will still be fine, because of the 4 checkers stuck .
I checked it on snowie, and it's says that the play he made in the video was an error by 0,073, which is close to being a blunder. So our play should be the right one :)
i don't know what settings did you use, but rollouts in both GNU and eXtreme gammon say that bar/19 24/18(3) is the best move and bar/19 24/18 7/1(2) is second move with error around -0,030

i also think that moving from 24 point was an error
but:
2-ply GNU thinks it's an error (your play is the best), 4-ply thinks this claring was the best move and rollout confirms that (but it's really close)
