However, I don't think this performance would have worked for a less attractive woman. What I love about this, besides how well it is sung, is how the lead is tongue-in-cheek sexy (i.e. touching everything but her private parts in a jocular way). I love this video, but I think the porn industry is safe.
hmmm, well, i think my main point was i was wondering if people were being too PC by not admitting that this performance is sexy. the part where she makes out with ehrself is very 4th gradish and a turn-off, but i think the rest is a little bit of both: it's tongue-and-cheek funny but it's also sexy, but i think they have to make it tongue and cheek because they perform this in front of school administrators, parents weekend, etc. i think they could make it more sexy if they wanted
Ha. I think most hetero women don't typically comment on how some other girl is extremely sexy. The song is sexy, the woman attractive and the performance fantastic. As for the back-to-the-audience scene, I like it's silliness. I totally agree with you that they could "make it more sexy" if they wanted, but I prefer it like this as it's funny. If the lead singer were to perform this in an attempt to be seriously sexy, I would likely be turned off. I think they had a perfect balance. Well done.
Also, I could've sworn I read some less tasteful remarks along the line of "I'd do her" or "I'd tap that" that have since disappeared from the comments field. She could have a spouse or something and wish statements like that removed. If I had been singing, I wouldn't necessarily find those types of comments appropriate and might wish them removed. My comment was referring to your original about how "girls are...leaving posts that proclaim how sexy..." I'm just saying hetero women wouldn't.
i find it funny that in male acapella groups, the girls are always screaming and leaving posts that proclaim how sexy the singer is, and how this girl gives easily the most erotic performance ever committed to youtube, and all she gets is a bunch of girls saying "adorable, cute, funny." let's be honest, here guys: this girl is funny but she is also lethal, she could single-handedly give the porn industry a run for their money
That's one of the two best performances I've seen with that song. She's adorable and feisty! A perfect combination for the song. The back ups were great too.
