Okay, so I have scene the movie about 12+ times, but until now, I never realized something. Jack, a poor guy, could have been sick before boarding Titanic. He was trembling in this scene, maybe not from the hot sex. I have always blamed Rose for not sharing that piece of whatever she was floating on in the movie's end. What if he was already sick and was getting worse and the cold triggered something. That, or I just REALLY hated seeing Jack disappear into the Atlantic.
