  • Loving the buccaneers!

  • what's the hand signal the guy at 0:15 does mean?

  • @DiegoMenendez Hard to say, although not how I'd have done it, but within this context, I'd take that to mean *engine start*

Honestly could just as easily mean hurry up, it was a war after all :P

  • massive respect to the super heroes lump in my throat agin !!!!!

  • Best aircrews in the world!

  • RAF best pilots in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • Didn't these aircraft get shot up all the time in the first Gulf? I hear the tornado was a crappy plane. Slow flying Turd.

  • @redmar79 due to been a ground attack plane, it have limited manouverability, but still have a pretty good balance on turns and climb. It's very well respected european aircraft among eurofighters and harriers though.

  • @redmar79 The tornado is one of the fastest low level fighters around, bucaneer is the fastest if im not mistaken or was. The reason it got shot was because it was flying so low in AAA fire. The americans didnt get shot because they all flew around 30000 feet. The tornados also had the task of taking out airfields with the JP233 weapon which means low and fast flying

  • @redmar79 The Tornado is far from being a "Slow flying Turd" as you so eloquently put it! These guys were flying some of the most dangerous missions of the entire war, and attacking well defended airfields will always bring casualites no matter what you're flying. The RAF were well trained for this role in Germany, and that's why they flew the anti-airfield missions. Only one Tornado was lost in the 2003 bash, and was because some gung ho idiot shot them down with a Patriot and murdered them!

  • NICE TO SEE GINGE MCGUKIN WORKING ON THE FLIGHT LINE !!!

  • Where did they get those Buccaneers from? That's real vintage aircraft!!

  • @pborotrevor In 1991 the Bucc was still in service with 12 and 208 Squadrons at RAF Lossiemouth. They were retired two years later, so this was her swansong. ;-)

  • Thanks for posting. I remember seeing the Jaguars and Buccaneers while stationed in Germany in the early '70s. Awesome aircraft.

  • Whitesnake hell yeah

  • Still seems like yesterday. I raise a glass to the blokes who never returned, lest we forget.

  • amazing =D just love that big tornado's tail =D
