Outstanding! I would be interested why the DSM IIII has removed homosexuality from the paraphilia categorization and left the variants thereof intact. (such as Gynandromorphophilia ect..). I am wondering if this was a politically motivated move rather than a rethink of it's true categorization. I don't think any of these need be pathologized, however, for purposes of removing stigma from the LGBT community, the variant and gradient of homo/bisexuality could be removed as well for their benifit.
If there is mutual agreement in behaviour that is damaging to health or life, that's pathology. Medical practice is warranted.

Is he saying there should be a decision for two people who like to chop off each other's penisses, that an authority should decide that they are mentally ill/criminals and should be dealt with accordingly?
