this movie is honestly amazing. i found it hard to sit through the first 30 minutes because it was so realistic and it felt like you were there (though it wouldn't be 1/100th of the horror of actually being there). tom hanks was amazing. god, this is a masterpiece.

this movie is honestly amazing. i found it hard to sit through the first 30 minutes because it was so realistic and it felt like you were there (though it wouldn't be 1/100th of the horror of actually being there). tom hanks was amazing. god, this is a masterpiece.

It's amazing. How lying to the audience in the trailer about how the movie will be. You hear the inspirational music, the dedication of the soldiers, the uttermost bravery of eight men. When you see the movie, you see the horrors of war, the eight soldiers, one by one giving up. Their bravery dying off like themselves.
It's a masterpiece. I'm not bashing any soldiers of WW2. Because the movie shows 100% realism to the reaction of war. You're brave at home. And cry for home on the battlefield.

The Japanese empire would not let any civilian sit back and watch if that happened. ask any historian or read history book, it will tell you thats waht truman considered. And it was nowhere close to a million who died from the bombs. Nagasaki was 70000 casualties and Hiroshima was around 150000

And as a bonus you will see the prespectiv from the leaders of the bombing! It wasn't just nagasaki and Hiroshima that were destroyed. It was about 67 more cities that were mostly destroyed by firebombs.

So i come from a Military family my cousin join the US Army when he was 18 and went to Afganistan and got severely injured , So did my Uncle ,my father when he was 17 joined ,my grandfather did his british national service and stayed joined , my step Dad join when he was 16 he had his 18th birthday on the falkland islands War in 1982 and i have also applied to enter the British Army.
