  • ive owned a 06 TJ... I gotta say after driving both, the build quality (durability) goes to the TJ hands down. Fuck v6, long live the Die hard I-6. That was a hardworking, bulletproof motor... It was a classic jeep motor idk why they got rid of the motor, efficient, cheap to run and REAL LONG lasting. (maybe that's why they've put the v6 b/c i-6 never died) the JK feels like a car compared to the TJ, I always felt a difference driving the TJ b/c it was a Jeep. JK's feel like cars compared to TJ

  • What was the tire/lift size of both tjs?

  • My cousin had an 08 JK and I have an 98 TJ. I can blow the doors off his jeep. Why do those new V6's seem to be underpowered compare to my inline 6?

  • Seems like the JK 4 door losses a lot of what makes a Jeep good offroad. A Jeep CJ, YJ, TJ works good because it is short and maneuverable but making them long and heavy kinda kills that.

  • I have worked on many Jeeps and the Jk is so over engineered, that I can't see it being more reliable, durable and capable. The grill and headlights are made of plastic also. We all know what happens to plastic headlights after a couple of years. I've replaced a couple of JK radiators because of the plastic grill giving to the sides and letting bigger objects pass through it. The grill is fine because it flexes back into shape but the radiator is damaged. The bumpers are plastic too.

  • that looked more like experience vs inexperience not that the jk is less capable.

  • It could be a nice video when the guy with camera knew how to use it
