I bought a album back in the early 80's called Rodriguez-At his best. It's got 5 tracks from "cold fact",3 from "coming from reality" and 3 not previously recorded. Also saw him at the Festival theatre,Adelaide after that. A great artist that never sold his soul just to get filthy rich.

First heard this bloke back in the late 70's. Had him on cassette ... wore it out & lost the music for years. Must get it back it's timeless & still relevant for today.

I'm 23... Love the album Cold Fact... certainly in my top 10. It's one of those rare albums that doesn't have a single bad song on it. I can't thank the friend who recommended it to me enough.

I was fortunate enough to see him when he came out to SA. Best concert I ever been to.. although we had to carry some friends out because of all the joints going up and down !!! LOL

Thanks a lot. As a South African resident of some 38 years, Rodriguez is for me a living reality. If you fail to find this great guy and performer anyplace else, you can look for him inside my mind.

aah nice so Rodriguez had a following in Aussie too. Didn't know that, in SA he was big, I think cold fact is even seen as a cult classic. strange that he never really made it in his home country the US

Light In The Attic, a Seattle indie label, is reissuing Cold Fact later this month on CD and vinyl.

Record players were the best. I have grown to hate CD's. Both the discs and the players just do not perform as according to the hype we were led to believe. Records and their covers were something very special. Love this song!
